Well they probably waited for the bear market to wear off to start working on the project again and it turns out all the wait is worth it and soon we can start moving forward with a brand new wallet features.

The only thing missing is exchange listing.

Hello @everyone , after a long period of hard work, we've finished the technical white paper describing the Sirius protocol. As announced earlier, it uses the new Reputation-Weighted Proof-of-Stake algorithm. We invite everyone to give it a read here: https://getsirius.io/docs/Sirius-Technical-WP.pdf although we understand that most people will want a quick and simple explanation. This will be forthcoming as a blog post. Meanwhile, we will start the massive undertaking of implementing the white paper. The first stop for this will be the Cantor testnet, which will increase TPS and allow us to test some of the new code. Also we are of course still working on new exchange listings as Cryptopia prepares to reactivate the SIRX trading pairs. Let us know what you think! We will do an update on bitcointalk as well.

Damn! it looks like the whitepaper was not meant for the reading pleasure of the laymen supporters of this project, i can hardly make out all the mathematical term use for explanation, very short and straight to the point, but it would be more appreciated if there is an easy interpretation of the whitepaper, i can already tell many will have problem understanding it.

i cannot find anymore the position paper, which was more of a general description of the project.

I remember when novaexchange closes down, Cryptopia was there and offer 50% off in listing fees for all novaEX listed coins now that they table is turned they are now trying to do the same.

Lets just hope that the SIRX dev are still active and will apply in NovaEX free listing program before June 1, 2019 deadline.

i was asking about that right now on the slack and it seems they have actually already made the request  Is not bad in the end, even though i never used that exchange and i don't if it has good liquidity in general, still better than nothing.

Previously, I used Nova Exchange, but now I do not use because of the mandatory KYC verification.

With the current state of their project, They are developing the project in a snail pace. They are still providing update every few days via telegram group bridge but when it comes to development they are really slow. The whitepaper took 5 months to complete so the actual development will probably take longer.

As for the exchange listing, Without cryptopia there ZERO exchange for Sirx, The Dev team should start working on listing ASAP so the project wont die and forgotten.

SIRX team already abandon the idea on getting listed on Kucoin way back in time because of the long waiting time just to get listed.

Since NovaEx re-launch they failed to penetrate in the market and this free listing from cryptopia orphans is their way to get their old business back.
