ERC-20 is the service I use most often for my tokens and to keep Ethereum themselves. Of course it would be a mistake to say that I kept a very high amount of money, but I can easily say that I use it extensively and that I am satisfied with this service. I do not yet have a security problem on my own but I do not want to go through without telling some friends around me that I have minor problems. Although I have friends who are not satisfied with this service around the time, I think it is quite handy and reliable for transactions up to a certain amount.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

It depend how users fully secured their wallet, the site itself still safe the problem is how we deal with securities, if we follow those instructions from the site and we make extra precautions then our investment are still secured but if we just simply use it and not do anything extra then hackers will be able to attack and take away our money.

I use MEW for all bounty activities, especially for tokens erc20. This is very safe as long as you do not open a wallet with a private key without checking the url address first, fear that it is a phishing web that will make us lose all tokens

Yes, this wallet is still reliable. But you must now be very careful before you enter your private key. Be sure to check whether the correct site you opened, look at the address, it should be: https://www.myetherwallet.com. And only after you make sure that you have opened a real wallet - then you can enter your personal information.

For me yes, MEW is the safest wallet because at a time we can store multiple coins of ethereum blockchain will be stored in the MEW wallet. If you don't share your private then you will be in safe hands by protecting the wallets.

I personally think MyEtherwallet is safe to use because I have used it for almost 2 years now and did not have any problems with the site. You just have to keep your private keys safe with you and never give it out to any one else most especially to those you don’t know.

I have been using mew for over a year and have not encountered any difficulties or obstacles. However, after the information about the hacker mew not so long ago. It still brings anxiety to many people. Compared to Metamask, I still believe in MEW because it has become familiar.

Using MEW is safer than any hardware you can find. As long as you keep your private key-----private.

If it was not safe then we would have heard screams from all sides. In fact, this is the safest purse, although it has lags.

Today I had trouble when I need to transfer ETH from Ledger Nano S to Binance or Bittrex.  It kept fails. Then I found article about using MEW (my ether wallet) as a solution. My question: IS IT SAFE TO USE MEW?

As of now i may say MEW is still safe and are ok to use. Just be careful on handling and using your private keys.

Quote
will they be able to steal my ETH?
Its impossible to steal your ETH if the scammer/hacker don't have your private keys.

I know it requires hardware to send it from Ledger, but im just curious  because we open our Ledger Ethereum in their website, they could change the destination address to any address they want. anyone can answer this?
MyEtherwallet is a decentralized online wallet so there's no one can change the destination address of such transaction
The only way for it to become possible is that when someone got your private key.

lol how can you say that? do you ever tried mew before ? if not  then youd better try it first and see for self before you judge them based  only on the bad reviews that you see online . imo mew is actually safe as long as you are visiting the correct website and make sure you always bookmark their site because any exchange or trading sites have always a phising sites that hackers have created so that they can steal the users private key and empty their balance quickly .

with the level of security that is in ETH to transact using Ledger I think it's safe because every exchange maintains trust for its customers

All wallets like MEW, Metamask are great, but I think it's safer to use Metamask. Last year there were a lot of frauds and attacks on the MEW wallet, doing a lot of damage, you should find out before using it. Basically all wallets have certain weaknesses, so the best way to do it is to find out carefully before using any type.

if you are using security measures I think it will not be a problem, but if your money is 10k dollars and above, you should definitely use the Ledger Nano S or another hardware wallet.

Regardless of your ethernet wallet, you will always need your privacy and security, and when using a wallet, you need to understand how it works to best protect your purse.

in my opinion it is safe and the erc20 wallet is always used for alternative tokens, if it is safer to store eth, just use the nano s ledger or metamask
so the most important thing is to save the KEY private and the jzon file utc
