I've got the Ignition-QT Windows desktop wallet. I transferred my IC to it over 24 hours ago.

I want to be sure it is Staking correctly. When I hover over the status icon in the bottom right, it says:

Wallet is encrypted and currently unlocked for staking only

Staking.
Your weight is 12
Network weight is 76397
Expected time to earn reward is 8 day(s)

I couldn't find info about how long I have to have my wallet open initially for staking to truly kick in. I've had the coins in there about 36 hours. Does everything look good here for staking purposes? This is my first PoS coin. Gogogo IC team!

This all looks good to me my friend. The reason why you might not see any stakes is because your staking weight is very low as you can see its only 12 which isn't much. That is why its saying that you will most likely earn a stake in 8 days. Now this is just an estimate as you could stake sooner or later depending on the network weight as its up and down. So your staking weight will change as well, so when the network weight drops your staking weight will also go down taking less days to stake. Its all luck when it comes to staking, if you want to stake more often, then I suggest you try and add more coins to your staking weight.

Cryptopia says that they have been training new devs for getting new coins setup on the market, and we should be able to be listed week of Jan 21st sometime.

Coinmarketcap requires 45,000$ a day trade volume, we far eclipse that on most days, so not sure that this is the reason for delays, they just don't respond or say anything so we don't know.

That is great news as I can;t wait to see IC listed on Cryptopia. This is where I do most of my buying and selling so it will be much easier for me to accumulate more IC. how do you use the coin control features?

To access coin control features for input control, you can go to Settings -> Options -> Display Tab : Check box saying "Display advanced coin control features" and then go to send tab, you will see "Inputs..." button now
