100x is gonna be hard, no doubt. but I can see a good 30x-50x easily on some of these coins right now. Everyday something comes out that has some potential.. 

Yeah, a lot of coins are coming out each day with great and huge potentials in the market and even some right now are still there and not gaining much recognition yet, but they have a solid product that can drive them top notch in coming weeks, months, years or anytime.

It is a huge market and ICOs can be a good way but I would rather stay with a coin already in the market that does not have much value. I bought some COSS recently after reading about the project, and trust me that is one coin that is going to be big among other ones, I can't start mentioning.

Last week before the rise would have been your last chance. Look at the char!ts now!
I am not saying that nice profits cannot be made still but all the coins who were still cheap like Iota, Verge, Ripple have risen almost tenfold.
I am in the same predicament. I have money sitting at Kraken, but don't know what to buy because everything has become so expensive.
At least for now the best hope to make 100 fold lies in icos if you ask me.

I would not be so fast to conclude that the 100 fold is over.
Waves is still there and I am sure something is coming up for that coin pretty soon and there are still some undervalued coins that you can still hold now at their dips and you may be lucky to still see some of those 100 folds.

I will want to be very careful considering any ICO to join at this moment, but trust me, we aren’t done yet and even the ones that are still up now can still keep increasing.

100x is still more than possible if you can into a coin during the ICO or when it's young. Right after ICO usually best time cause price takes a dip.

100x is not impossible at all.  It will just take longer.  The trick is to find a deeply undervalued coin with soild tech and a strong use case, a competent and dedicated dev team, and a strong community.  There is no doubt more than one such coin in the crypto universe, and those who hitch their wagon to one of those stars will easily stand to gain 100x in the coming months and years.

My own favorite among such coins is Spectrecoin (XSPEC).  It is a solid privacy coin with robust privacy and anonymity technology, a full time, active and highly competent dev team (including an experienced cryptographer), and a vibrant and growing community.  It has less than 21 million coins in circulation, yet you can still grab some for $1 and change.

100x is still achievable, you just have to be more patient. For one some easy 10-20x returns will come around after the next crash. When the market next crashes just pick already good projects like monero and wait for them to recover and bull in the next run. For really big 100x returns you might have to wait years if you don't want to take major risks with low cap coins. But some coins like Monero, Ethereum and even Bitcoin could still go 50x from today's prices. I think ETH even has potential to 100x from today's price if we're looking 5-10 years down the road.

IMO it doesn't make sense to left money sitting/waiting for special 100x return coins.

Invest in things where you think you'll make profit. If you double it in a month it is great.

I have made some nice money with ltc. It is volatile but quite predictable (or I was lucky), what I like.

Few people mentioned spectercoin. I wouldn't say it is better than Monero, but I like it better than other privacy coins tech wise, and I think it had a nice future, and is good long term investment.

Verge, I think one can still make money with it, short term at least.

Long term Golem token also looks like a reasonable investment IMO.

It is true that cheap coins often provide nice return, but also coins which went > 1$ can be very good investment, especially if they have something to offer. Look cloakcoin. Who bought if for even 4 - 5$ made good investment, not to mention Monero. In this regard, as privacy coin, I think that spectrecoin has a bright future ahead of it.

I still feel the best projects with huge returns are not yet born, that is why I'm focusing now on project with $20 million or less. I stay way from project with stupid valuations because it has become a trend now that most of this team hold 50% of the tokens which i think is not fair to investor

Right and this is one of the reasons I look more at the marketcaps than just trying to hold any coin with a huge cap and then a low value which would really take a long one for investors to even get the best from it.

I have been looking around lately and I noticed projects like BAT, COSS, WAVES and some few other ones in the market are good projects with very low value right now and I would not even want to miss that ride when they start.

Oyster Pearl just went up 60x from half a penny to 30 cents in the past 3 weeks. It also should be $5 at some point.

So are moonshots and golden grail 100x over? Not even close. There's still 400x coins out there.

Ask yourself this simple question: does your father have virtual coins? Your mother? Siblings? Uncles and aunts? Greatparents? The neighbours? Your colleagues? Your friends?

The more you reply with "no", the greater the potential.

Now ask yourself this question: do these people have fiat money?

Virtual market is (still) VERY VERY SMALL.
