You should wait when altcoin is red, if you buy altcoin when green, maybe you will lose if the time of bitcoin price changed and all altcoin showed red, when altcoin correction that is the right time to invest

At the end it is up to you to decide what you want to do, buying alts seems like a good idea but if you wanted to buy alts your chance was a few weeks ago when the alts were a lot cheaper, now in these circumstances I prefer to hold my bitcoin for the long term since I'm sure we are still going to see bitcoin skyrocketing again before the end of the year.

Hello. I take some profit at every successful trade (yes maybe i miss some profit in the long run) but  i try to take my initial investment out of the game and let the rest ride. Feels better that way and profit is profit
If you are in it for the long run and did your research, now is as good as any time to buy. Just use DCA and buy in slowly

50% correction seems a bit much.  Perhaps down to low $10's for a short drop, but then it should climb back up right away.

Or just wait for some little correction with altcoins so by this you can maximize profit. When bitcoins price went down the altcoins are slowly recovering from bitcoins high price so the best time to buy altcoins in my opinion would be when bitcoin again increases it price. At least that’s when I buy alternate coins though, I’m not too sure about the other traders if usually they buy them when bitcoin has a steady price.

I think a lot of guys holding Bitcoin were waiting for the futures to sell the news and now are going into alts. I expect them to keep rising for a while, because the pump in Bitcoin was so massive over the last 3 months.

In the last 3 months the price of bitcoin was increase too fast and i think it need a little time to stable its price so it's difficult to the price of bitcoin is pass $20k in these time. I just check blockfolio a while ago and most alts are dumping, i don't know why but i think this is a good chance to buy alts. i saw waves price throughout the day in my timezone ranging from $13 to $14, such a wast of opportunity for me since i don't have funds yet to buy alts

I wouldn't. Pull up coinmarketcap and look at the total crypto chart. First look at 1 month, then 1 year. The market cap is up 500 B since around August, do you really think 500B of FIAT flowed into crypto? I don't. This is pure speculation. Be patient and be smart.
