In my opinion, now is the time to buy all the coins. Crypto coins have entered the market, more and more people are learning about them. Previously, they did not know about crypto coins. More investment contributes to the growth and strengthening of crypto coins.

Wait bro,you just said bitcoin is stable now but one day late everything turns upside down due to the bitcoin cash price.The price of bitcoin is falling and it is around $16K and the price of BCH keeps increasing.But I hope this will be a temporary price bump so you have to wait to buy altcoins if you buy now the price is expensive then the actual price.
Maybe it is the right time to buy bitcoin because the price falls down so you can buy bitcoins than before.

Buying alts and investing in ICO are two different things. The first might be an already well established project with a large and committed community behind it. But the later is a complete unknown... In my opinion, most of the ICOs will reveal themselves to be complete failures, if not absolute scams.

Bitcoin just fell a little , I think it will go down more and everyone will drop the alts and buy into Bitcoin again. I'm gona wait awhile before I make any moves.

Well, good you waited a little. Bitcoin already tested the bottom and has been able to find one and now we have a good support at that point. For now, once it passes the previous resistance, then we should expect another ATH even though it may take some little time but for now, it seems the bulls have won the fight and the bears are a bit in their hiding right now.

Bitcoin is not fully stable yet though and we may still have another run for this year before we call it a stop possibly. However, I am not sure this should affect the alt market pretty dip. These alts are already beginning to find some breathing space and most of them are on the verge of performing some upward push to the moon for those that have not.

Almost all alts now are +20-30% Looks like somebody late for few days, maybe u can try catch up 3-5 % bounces after small correction. But all this looks very risky. Must be very careful.

Yeah, most altcoins are really doing pretty great at the moment and they may still be doing even much better pretty soon as long as bitcoin still keep up with the little movement it is having for now. Testing the ATHs may really be a fast one, but for now, it is normal to just keep watching how things will end with the market. It is a good time to buy anyway considering most of them are just doing some little test to the up.

As long as you choose worthy projects then there is nothing wrong with investing in alts, the only problem that I see is that people concentrate too much in trying to find the next 100x coin or something like that instead of choosing good projects and that is why you see wild speculation and people losing a fortune because they decided to invest their money in a project without a future.

I'm sure everyone understands that 2018 will be the year of alternative crypto currency, and now it's time to buy promising coins.

I think that the key here is to diversify.  By holding both bitcoin and some quality alt coins you spread out the risk of loss.  Perhaps this strategy will lower the potential gains as well, but that's part of diversification.
