There is a lot of trading platform where you can buy altcoins but some of them need to create account and verify its user identity to access more its function. In etherdelta you can buy here a lot of altcoins without any verification, in bittrex and other trading platform better to verify first in order to cashout your money because some of the trading platform right now are experiencing errors because of the massive users.

Try looking at CMC (coinmarketcap), you will find market and altcoin of course. Where an altcoin is traded, for what suggestions a good exchange might be you can see in this forum, its many advantages and disadvantages, but I suggest you try binance, binore already support bitcoin and altcoin lots. with binance coin (BNB) there is a 50% discount fee for peer transactions using BNB, for a new token common in etherdelta, in CMC you can also see which coin sales in the market are the most good ones. please visit coinmarketcap.

There is so many exchanger right where you can buy altcoins. But in terms of ease, better support, and less fees, Binance offers the best perspective among others. You can trade in binance with as much as 0.05% fees only in BNB payment. https://www.binance.com/

Upon ICO inquiry, you can check out PINCOIN ICO Smiley https://pincoin.io/

Hope this helps.

I only recently tried them out but I like the interface and there is no verification up to 2 BTC a day which is quite huge limits for most people. I am speaking about Binance of course try them out!

if we buy an altcoin, usually there is a group that discusses the altcoin, from the start price, market,, until the future prospects. nahh therefore, of course we must know and join in a certain group to get news about altcoin we buy .. so we will not be confused in all things.
if I may know, what altcoin are you buying?

It depends on which crypto you want to buy, because they don't trade on all. However two good exchanges are Binance and KuCoin in my opinion. Binance is already number 1 and has had impressive growth, way better than Bittrex. And KuCoin is a rising star.

Binance and hitbtc tend to be the next exchanges down from tokens not listed on Bittrex. For the ultimate in shitty tokens there's always EtherDelta.

Etherdelta does have a lot of scam coins for sale though most coins on there is cheap compared to the ones that are listed in YoBit and the other popular exchanges.

Just find the coins you want to buy on www.coinmarketcap.com, select Markets and there you'll be able to see every single exchange that that particular coin is being traded on. Me personally I buy most of my coins at Bittrex, Binance and Cryptopia. Oh and stay as far away as possible from Yobit, they are the shadiest exchange of them all.

Have you tried to sign up on poloniex or shapeshift.io? They are one of the trusted exchanges where you can trade those coins that aren't popular in your choice.

Hitbtc is also a good exchange though, actually you have tons of choices on where to trade/buy/sell those coins you wanted.

It's all given here by our fellow forum members.

Cryptopia is the one I recommend. I also recommend you not to use:

-Poloniex
-HitBTC
-Shady exchanges

Bittrex might be worth it if you're able to verify your ID, though I've seen some accusations of them freezing accounts for longer periods of time.

Cryptopia is a small exchange though, so it might not have the best prices possible available and it doesn't have all cryptos, though you should be able to invest in the majority of them.
Openledger is another exchange I recommend trying out. It doesn't require ID-verification either and has a reasonable volume for some cryptos. Some cheap buys & high sells are available there too, as it's apparently a relatively unknown exchange.

There's also a lot of information about it on these forums and you might be able to find an ANN thread about the crypto your want to invest in.
EtherDelta is available for tokens you might be interested to invest in.

Have fun!

I'd recommend looking at Hitbtc. Its market has a lot of altcoins and a verification is not required.
