I am very sure that in 2018 many altcoins will gain huge %ages for its holders. Some of the top altcoins like ETH, LTC, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, and XRP will be huge this year. The way investors are taking those cryptos will really impact their rates very well. Ripple will be huge this year because it has already crossed 300% within 1 month. and it can go way higher than that in 2018.
on the other hand, the Bitcoin will continue performing better without any doubts. The expected gain for its holders in 2018 will be more than 30% or even more than that.
So if you are into investing thing then you should invest in the top altcoins for huge profits.

I am giving some altcoins that can perform well in 2018, I will go for Ether becaue Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.And now a days you can see many many ICO coming with Ethereum platform.And the other coins I will also  prefer Ripple (XRP), Stellar Lumens (XLM), NEO.This all altcoins can perform well in 2018 as bitcoin performed in 2017.

Bitcoin will grow as all altcoins. Of course bitcoin will be number 1 in the price all the way - cause it is basic. But we don't need to watch on the price, cause for bitcoin to grow x2-3 time is more difficult than to the altcoins which can grow from 1$ to 10$ very easily - but it is x10 time and gives you more profit). So keep BTC as the base, but earn profits and more BTC from trading with altcoins..

2018 is the year of altcoins i think there will be many change till the first of januarry i really dont mind the price of the bitcoin now. i think sys, waves, wings shift and deeponion will go to moon in the new year. I am joining the airdrop of the deeponion also. An alt pump is due now for almost 6 months and I think bitcoin also needs to cool down for it to grow organically. The correction we are seeing now is the best imo for bitcoin, also alts may take the high road from here.

It's hard to guess and predict. But we can discuss. I think that next year investments will become smarter. I would like people to stop buying shitkoins and speculative coins, but began to invest wisely. I would like ICO projects without a real-life model to be a failure. I personally invest and trade only with top coins.

We just don't know since digital currencies are hard to predict as to when it can attract more investors that would drastically change its market cap and affect its market price. Hopefully by next year, a strong altcoin will stand (it might be ETH, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, IOTA) even if bitcoin's price will continue to rise in the market. Or maybe, an altcoin that's not even in the top 20 will make its run and make it well known in the cryptoworld.
