Fees can be high, I understand that. But I don't think that bitcoin cash is the ''future''. I have seen many bad comments about the bitcoin cash so far, and I don't trust that coin.

I think the fee is a solvable problem and I hope that it will be solved in a near future.

Bitcoin had fast transaction times and low fees too when it was used by almost no one. The reason the real Bitcoin has high fees is because people are willing to pay that amount to be included in the blockchain. Bcash is useless. If you want fast and small transactions you can use hundreds of other coins like Dogecoin, Litecoin etc.

Agreed about Litecoin, which is a better version of Bitcoin IMO, while Bitcoin Cash is pretty much a Bitcoin clone coming from a fork and getting popular because if its name + some big hype from Roger Ver and the likes.

Yes, now it is very difficult and senseless to make small payments in BTC. The commission exceeds the payment amount and this makes bitcoin useless for small payments. If this does not change new people will not want to use bitcoin. And this will lead to a drop in the popularity of the crypto currency. But I do not think that BCC is the solution to the problem. This coin depends too much on the founder.

Not only for BTC
every small cryptos payment are more or less not interesting because the fees.

For ethereum it is in average nowadays $0.50 up to $1.00
Small transactions have so a very high fees rate.

During the sharp jumps in the bitcoin rate, the transaction really lasts a very long time. The commission for the transfer is also very much increasing. At this time bitcoin ceases to be a means of payment. But I think bitcoin continues to be a means of investment.

You almost read my thoughts. I also think that bitcoin will retire in a couple of years. It's time to give way to younger and more promising coins.  Cheesy

Bitcoin will remain king, all these coins are weighed up against bitcoin. And bitcoin will go through it's needed developments as well.
What if btc all of the sudden adds smart contracts?

Then I'll first run to sell my altcoins to buy bitcoin on them.  Grin Smart contracts are very important for future crypto currency.

Yes, definitely bitcoin has flaws. These shortcomings have become noticeable in the periudes of a high load on the bitcoin network. If no serious changes occur in bitcoin, then in the future we will lose bitcoin.

Yes there are some flaws in bitcoin which is been getting unwanted attentions like higher transaction charges and all but on the other hand we have crypto currencies with zero transaction fees and better features so there is a lot which has to be changed if bitcoin wants to remain leader of crypto world.

Yes, changes are necessary to bitcoin. Without modernization, this coin will soon be useless to anyone.  Wink

I do not think that bitcoin will die and bitcoin cache completely replace it. I think the ether will soon be the leader, and bitcoin cache will be the younger brother of bitcoin.

Yes, indeed, during the peak loads for bitcoins, the transfer fee is unreasonably high. Use bitcoin as a payment tool is unbearable. Many of my friends no longer make payments through bitcoin.

You and your frinds are not alone who thinks so. The payment operator Stripe announced that it will leave bitcoin within the next three months and completely abandon it on April 23. A long time of transaction processing, an increase in the number of unsuccessful transactions and growing charges made bitcoin less in demand among Stripe users.

LTC might be a better option?

Low price and no-fee txns?

Faster and gaining traction among online commerce and payments.

Litecoin is indeed sort of a better version of Bitcoin.
By the way talking about Bitcoin Cash, the community is ready to increase the block size to 32 MB last time I checked, don't think it was necessary yet, wonder if this was to manipulate the price, we'll know more about this news soon.

I told many time in forum and I'm going to remind again.

Bitcoin: Gold like investment asset/tool
Bitcoin Cash: Payment tool/currency.

Please accept this reality. It doesn't decrease BTC's value or historical development. Embrace the sensible way.
