From my views towards the bitcoin there is no chance of price of bitcoin is going down because nows a days the popularity of bitcoin is countinously increasing day by day and demand of bitcoin towards the people is also increasing that's why the number of user of bitcoin is also increases so that the price of bitcoin is also increasing and there is very less chance to decrease in the price of bitcoin but the fluctuation in the price of bitcoin is always take place in the market.

Another perspective:

Let’s not be churlish about this, however, it is important to give credit where it is due. Those who got in early on this Bitcoin mania are true geniuses who have every reason to feel proud of themselves, having made themselves a fortune from even relatively modest stakes. The problem for many such investors though is that they don’t know when to call it a day and jump ship – many overstay their welcome and end up losing most of their gains. If you, dear reader, are one of these fortunate individuals you should get the hell out with the minimum of delay and consider yourself lucky. Sure you might miss some more gains short-term, but when this thing goes down it will be a lot faster than the Hindenburg and leave behind a massive impact crater, as unbridled greed changes in a flash into visceral fear and blind panic and all the recent lemmings disappear straight over the cliff edge – it will go into freefall and bids will evaporate.

There are hordes of young and not so young fools out there who are now “champing at the bit”, wanting to buy Bitcoin. They watched enviously as it rose into the Stratosphere, and now after last week’s smackdown, they can seize their chance to buy at a heavy discount from the peak price, thinking they have gotten hold of a bargain - ignoring the fact that this “heavy discount” is from a massively overinflated price. After all, “buy the dip” has worked like clockwork now for years, right? – and this is another dip, is it not? WRONG!! – this is not a dip, it is the initial plunge of a bearmarket in something that got insanely overbought and has now burned out.

IMO If you already made a nice profit of Bitcoin it wouldn't be bad idea to get your investment back and secure (some, if not all) gains. A common error in trading (specially for us, newbies) is not setting target prices. Once it reaches 15K you want 20K and then 25K and so on... but what if that never happens or if it happens after long time (remember BTC "correction" in 2014)? The crypto market is insanely volatile so caution is always advised.

Bitcoin is a international business it has a graphics movement that monitored by the organizers of bitcoin on how the demand and supply being equal. When the demand is on the top so the price also will goes higher and when the demand goes lower the price also goes lower.

Hi guys I am a newbie and tell me please that why the price of bitcoin goes to decrease? please tell me the main reason because I like this coin and when it's price goes to decrease I am very worried.
No one is sure of why its market value is falling. There are only rumors that it is because of the holiday season whrre people are selling their Bitcoin to buy gifts for their selves. So transactions are getting high in that case which makes the demand and its value low. So probably it is the main reason.

It is still trying to find its solid new base or support. I wouldn't buy at Bitcoin's current state.

Bitcoins price is going up and down. The price cannot just go up, there are several reasons for the price to go up or down. Now it looks like It's stabilizing around 14K, but it might fall down to 11K like it did a few days ago. But if you hold your bitcoins long enough, you'll make good gains. It's better not to keep staring at the volatile price, just hold and keep the faith.

I would not be surprised anyway if we still have some downward trend soon, but for now we just hope the base is around $15,000 and it won't go lower since it has been tested several times already and it seems it is still strong for now. I would still be very relaxed though so to be sure of a strong point to buy but for now, I bet one would just have to relax a little bit to see how the trend is going to be like.

if we think that the events of today are almost the same as the events of a year ago, maybe this is the Christmas trend and the new year that makes people must hold cash to celebrate.

i dont think its the same as the last years december because some people said that bitcoin has increased on the last december 2016 but bitcoin on this december 2017 has decrease dramatically due to the cause of correction however holidays season has also the other factor and reason on why bitcoin has going for a dip thesedays. yet it is still a win win situation for most of us because now is the perfect time to buy and horde more bitcoins.
Holiday or no holiday, bitcoin really had a very huge increase this year that normally nothing really warranted it except that some people just got so greedy but it is all good, it is not something that was not meant to happen anyway and it is not that it would remain the same way for life. Bitcoin will still increase in value over time, which is just normal.

There are only rumors that it is because of the holiday season whrre people are selling their Bitcoin to buy gifts for their selves. So transactions are getting high in that case which makes the demand and its value low. So probably it is the main reason.
Those are just some rumors that we all know it is not true. How much do you want to cash out to spend for Christmas, but whichever way, let us assume that was even the case, the gospel truth is that this would have happened and the way the whole thing happened anyway, really made some sense as this was really needed to be able to bring sanity back to the market.

Buy bitcoin rightnow
Absolutely the best time to buy bitcoin. To me this is more like a Christmas gift for those who missed this price initially. Do not let it go away and just buy in now when you can because at the end, we will go back to keep testing where we were and even end up testing even more. For now, and in this year, bitcoin has really shown us that there are so many opportunities ahead to tap from and it will be bad if you lose the moment.

Well, that is why we called it price correction and not just those little ones that we had after all the insanely huge increase in value. Bitcoin was meant to drop anyway as the whole whales decided to cash out while some who did not really know what they were really investing in, got scared and also cashed out as well. Bitcoin will still increase later on and start testing back the previous top soon.

That took long time back and today the price of bitcoin seems growing high with much stability. Here all that you need to have is patience, the patience will help with the opportunity for  a bigger profit. Very few might have got the opportunity for earning there days.

At this point there isn't and won't be such a thing as a solid base aside from the flat $10k level -- as long as we hover above that level we will be just fine. In the meanwhile we will bounce up and down like we have seen happen in the last days. It's a great opportunity for traders to take advantage of these ping pong movements. People should be happy with where we stand right now, especially if you look back at what price we entered this year. It's almost like people don't understand how much growth we have gone through, where they act like spoiled brats when the price goes down while they were strongly believing in a further increase....

Hi guys I am a newbie and tell me please that why the price of bitcoin goes to decrease? please tell me the main reason because I like this coin and when it's price goes to decrease I am very worried.

I think one of the reason why bitcoin is dropping is because of the fork. But don't you worry. Drop is a part of bitcoin since bitcoin does not have a fix price. If it is not up then it is down.
What are you even saying? The fork that has been cancelled or the fake one that no one cares about which is organized by some group of scammers who  I refer to as assholes and punks. There is no reasonable fork happening and the only reason the market is taking a dip now is because the whales and the scared newbies are cashing out which I see as a huge correction we have all expected and I believe which was fueled by Roger Ver with his BCH pump. I hope he is happy now with his BCH. The market will find its way back at the end.
BCH also face a fall and yeah this is just because of fork and there are no scammers involved in it and many people are saying that scammers did this please for god sake bitcoin is the most secure investment and nobody can get into its system the fall occur just because people want to make profit and many if investors were holding their coins for 4 to five months and they fell safe to sell now because they want to earn big.

It can't go up forever... And those wild differences in rates between exchanges (cex.io - https://cex.io/btc-usd ; bitfinex - https://www.bfxdata.com/orderbooks/btcusd) $1000 gap is crazy. It should have come to a correction sooner or later.

No need to worry about this. The currency fell, and in a few days it will again jump and surprise everyone else. This system is not so simple, and we will see surprises from it.

True. price action is fairly complicated unless you use charts to see its historical data and probably you will notice a pattern.

Bitcoin price is going down because of what is called the market correction. Whenever the bitcoin price grow to a certain level the correction will come in to balance the market. This is very common in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, so this is not the first time and will never be the last.

If you think that bitcoin will continue decreasing then you are totally wrong . Bitcoin has already surpassed much bigger dumps and is still on a positive progress even tho it has decreased in these past weeks . Bitcoin will certainly achieve higher values and gain more ground in 2018 because we have already seen that it is capable to multiply it's market cap by 20 times . There's a much brighter future than any one thinks for this coin and whoever owned coins before 2017 is already a millionaire .

Hi guys I am a newbie and tell me please that why the price of bitcoin goes to decrease? please tell me the main reason because I like this coin and when it's price goes to decrease I am very worried.
The reason why bitcoin price was going down because lot of people was affraid to trust and make a transactions such as investment. They affraid because other country has banned and consider as an scam but all of that is a false things that put in thier mind. Since bitcoin price was too high than any other countries whole over the world so that they affraid that it may cover the whole world.stated that they could not trust to bitcoin. Decreasing and increasing was a normal thing but the biggest portion of bitcoin was fall into increasing rather that decreasing.
