I agree that this is not really that hard of a time, except to those who recently bought at the highs. Those who have been observing the cryptocurrency market know that this minor correction is trivial in the grand scheme of things.

I actually dont wanna be a 100% holder because it has a low probability on earning. It is a lazy job where you buy coins and defy odds on the vilatility of its value. All you have to do is wait. Its never hard. If you are an old time holder, you should be used to its volatility.

If you are a true hodler you wouldn't care about temporary price dump. Just continue to hold and avoid looking at bitcoin price every minute because
the price will be huge after 1 or 2 years.
You wouldn't get any problem by holding your bitcoin. Price is none of your business anymore, after 2-3 years you will get back to the reality and you will set your life in bitcoin price.

Agree with you sir, if you are always scared and will see every minute every hour every day bitcoin price you will be anxious and always will sell it, if necessary save bitcoin in offline wallet for security reasons. let if there are investors who only sell and buy in a short time to achieve quick profits. it's the one that makes the bitcoin value up and down now. Just forget about minor price movement - simply wait for another milestone - waiting for halving in 2020 is a good choice.
Maybe we will see an amazing price increase - something like John McAfee predicted, bitcoin might even be worth 1 million USD.
Or collect your profit right now - and don't waste time with BTC anymore if you are stressed out by sudden price movements.

Hard to sit here and watch our BTC fighting off yet another attack from these twat wads. Our baby is wounded but standing strong.

Godspeed.
Yeah, that's indeed true. But the thing here that matter is that, backdrops like what we are seeing is only a part of its volatility and we should all be awared of that. Bitcoin's market value is falling at this moment but it will eventually increase again so holders will benefit when that near moment comes. So continue holding and investing.

IF YOU ARE BTC HOLDER LIKE ME.THEN ITS NOT A MATTER IF BTC DUMP.
BITCOIN WILL RECOVER SOON AND FAST AND KING WILL BE KING
King can be changed too? Don't you know this? Bitcoin fell by 11% today, this can be repeated tomorrow and day by day. Why don't you think that if something can rise, it can fall like that? Fall always comes after rise, without rise nothing can fall. And despite the fact that you are btc holder, can you write one real argument to explain why will it rise and you holders will be always in profit? What if bitcoin didn't achieve 18K again in next 10 year? Will you wait forever?

Yes, if you are able to survive for 1-2 years and be patient, then you will get a huge profit. in 2016 the bitcoin price is still $ 900. and today it's been 1 year bitcoin prices reached $ 15000, I regret not buying bitcoin at the price of $ 900 in 2016.

I know what it feels just sitting and do nothing why not take the chance of buying to show your support to bitcoin and at the same time you are taking the advantage of it.

True and after this fall of bitcoin it will rise.

Lol! Exactly. Bitcoin has gone this far in a short perid of time. It has gain its fame not only because of the price stability but because of it unstoppable growth in value. If he’s been a holder for a long time then this one day price change should not make him panic. He must be far sighted.

The difference is that now we all know that Bitcoin is not THE technology of the future. Transaction fees are ridiculous, transaction times are too long, the network is overloaded.

The more people realize it the more the price will drop.

But no one knows when this will happen. Maybe 2018, maybe a few years later. But my guess is by the end of 2018.

At the moment I still would hold.

BTC is strong enough,. Let the bitcoin noobs ,stockmarket  and forex new crypto comers do the long position. You should try investing in alts now to grow your bitcoins instead of battling with the unpredictable Usd vs BTC charts.

The best thing to do still is to hold and not to sell. Bitcoin is just experiencing its volatility and it is normal. Its market value will evengually increase so waiting would be much appropriate than to panic selling. This happens a lot and those who will sell will lose the opportunity to earn bigger profit when it starts to increase again.

I've just sold out. The fees are absolutely ridiculous and it is going to kill Bitcoin. Bitcoin cash is better and the only thing keeping Bitcoin alive is the people that love it just too much.

Bitcoin needs fixing real fast, because it's already too late.
I think that you have committed a grave mistake y selling your bitcoins. If you had been a long time holder  of bitcoin, then this price fall is  nothing when compared to previous price falls. But i think that this is necessary for bitcoin price to stabilize instead of continuously increasing. If you had bought bitcoins at the price range of $17,000,then its surely a matter of worry. But if you had bought it earlier than one month, then you have nothing to worry about.I think that its now time for bitcoin core team to decide about activating lightning network to bring down the transaction fee.

Just dont mind the change of price from time to time and think of the result long term if you keep holding your Bitcoin. Price and dump is normal when we talk about crypto and even stocks, Bitcoin has a limited supply so the longer you hold the higher the price it can go. What i mean is since it has a limited supply whatever happens now in the price and dump of the coin just think of the longer term when the supply reach its max what would be the price of Bitcoin then? So i suggest that just hold your Bitcoin.

I'm one of those that bought in when it was in the 17k range, so yeah I'm definitely anxious and worried as well. I see a lot of comments being very dismissive of the drops and saying to just wait it out. Is this really what's happening? That it's a minor price drop and that it will pick up speed again in the coming days? I was sitting on such a high last weekend when I had ~1500 profit from this thing and now I'm all anxious and checking it all the time. Where do you guys realistically see the price going in the next few days?
