Hello all,

I deposited money to my Exodus wallet last night. I see the dollar/bitcoin amount in my portfolio, however, when I go to convert my bitcoin in the exchange, the usd/dollar amount status says $0.00 and I'm getting an error message of "Not Enough Funds" from Exodus.

I've reached out to the helpdesk, but they say they're at max capacity and can't respond to trouble tickets.

Is there a minimum amount for the exchange?

Is there a certain amount of time you have to wait after you deposit funds before you can exchange?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that if your balance is not big enough to cover the transaction fees involved with sending your transaction then it will show up as a balance not sufficient error. So try get some more funds into your address before trying again.

There are definitely minimums that are set by shapeshift, to avoid dust inputs.

The transactions sometimes can take a while so be patient. Usually they should be resolved in pretty quick time. If you want you can directly go to shapeshift.io to see if you can exchange, it should be the same rates.

I do feel like though that it's probably something wrong with your actual exodus wallet like the wallet not being able to connect to a node or something along the lines of that, instead of anything on shapeshift's side.

Unless you really do have that small of an amount that it doesn't even cover the minimum.

Anyways, try shapeshift and see what happens. If you are sure that you have more than enough to actually conduct a trade there, just do it on their website or even deposit into an exchange or try a different instant exchanger(like changer.com, changelly(unreliable), changenow.io, etc.)

Yes, there is a minimum amount of funds before you can exchange certain coins in Exodus. I totally forgot how much the minimum is. I think it should be around .15-.17 ETH-> BTC. However if you see the error "Not Enough Funds" it means that you actually don't have funds to exchange to begin with.

I would suggest to try shapeshift as well. Exodus is using that exchange. If there's really funds on your Exodus wallet and it cannot convert because its not on the minimum, go directly and exchange it in shapeshift. Just mindful of the fees and the amount that you are going to lost during your conversation.

Hi I am trying to message you but it doesn't let me since I am a newbie. I have the same issue you had last year with Bittrex. Unfortunately, I put all my coins in it without knowing they might disable my account for the stupid verification reason. Please tell me your issue was finally resolved or not? I kind of think the same, if your balance is high they clock your account and I did everything to get a single response from support but it has been 50 days and I have not heard back from a human being! If you can send me in the private message I appreciate since I am not sure how to track this.

Thank you,
