Why not just use your own money? Arbitrage is rarely the sort of thing that requires outside capital. Anything with 0 risk and high return is something that an entrepreneur will sink his own money into, not others'. People only ask for others' money when there is some risk.

Good question! As mentioned in this thread (previous post discusses the most profitable single trade) and on our site, the team does indeed trade its own money using the strategy being offered here. We are bringing our Fund to the public to increase our own profits by taking a performance fee off of additional investments. The opportunity space is large enough that the 3,000 ETH being raised will not meaningfully dilute profitability, at least over the 4-month lifespan of the Fund.
A final note for transparency's sake - arbitrage eliminates nearly all price risk (which is likely what you are referring to), but there are other risks that cannot be removed - those are discussed in the prospectus / white paper, one of which is exchange risk (i.e. Bitfinex gets hacked again). We have mitigation plans for all identified risks and do not anticipate them to negatively impact Fund returns, but would like to make sure that all potential investors make an informed decision on putting their money with us, even if leads to them walking away. As you suggest, we're doing well with our own money already!
I was referring to price risk. Thanks for your reply.

There's been a lot going on in Ripple lately, and a quick look at the quoted prices for top 3 volume exchanges on Coinmarketcap shows some interesting numbers: Prices are consistently higher on Korean and Chinese exchanges, which has been a solid base of returns for the fund strategy so far. Even ignoring that, the Bittrex-Bitfinex gap represents a 2.75% return from a single trade, all with no risk involved. Arbitrage is moving from one place to another (is this true?) and how when arbitrage occurs constraint when withdraw for a long time

Arbitrage is moving from one place to another (is this true?) and how when arbitrage occurs constraint when withdraw for a long time It is very easy to understand Arbitrage, you can type it on google.com and find a lot something like that in there. like this : https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/arbitrage.aspindeed it's moving from one place to another, but it require a differences in term of price so we can make a quick profit from it. the real problem that we face whenever we do that is time. some of them require a lot of time to make a single transaction which will make the price go up or go down. plus 50% Monthly return Target is a 'Huge' target. i do not think they can do it, it would be better for them to show their capability first before claimed that thing.

The concept is very interesting, but the termes and times and details of the ICO are still a bit vague. Moreover, is there a bounty campaign?

I could not find any personal information of you or your team. How could an investor be sure you won't just exit-scam?

Starscape Capital, this concept sounds excellent.
It's exactly here where the fluctuations are.
Considering how much movement there are in coins on a daily basis, there are ample opportunities here.
Looking forward to hearing more.
Is the trading being done by a team of manual traders? Or are there automated processes in place as well?

Hey,
how come you never posted a track record? At least an Excel-sheet with your trade history or excerpts from trade-histories from exchanges.

I see that you trade the crypto/USDT vs crypto/USD in your performance report. I wanted to ask how you guys are getting your USDT to buy on the exchanges with crypto/USDT pairs. Also doesnt USDT generally trade at a slight premium to USD?

Congrats on your successful ICO, Starscape! 1600 ETH already after 1 hour, only 400 left - this will sell out fast.
Everything I have read about your project - the website, the whitepaper, the excellent articles on Medium tells me that you guys know what you are doing. And professional arbitrage in the crypto market 2018 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
I am excited to be part of the early investors!
Quick question about tracking the performance - in theory, it should be possible that your trading systems will automatically update a daily profit figure or even real-time on your website. Now there might be potential downsides that I haven´t thought through (f.e. other arbitrage teams that look for benchmark numbers, but not sure if this could be a problem). Do you plan something like this?

Hey Starscape, thanks for providing detailed instructions on how to participate in the ICO, was my first ICO investment, so was very helpful!
I stumbled upon your fund while researching arbitrage in cryptocurrency, as I wanted to try doing it myself, but I quickly realized that I do not have the capital to execute simultaneous trades on multiple platforms; transaction fees would eat away a large portion of any earnings, and wait times between shifting fiat (since I do not have enough finances to maintain balances on multiple exchanges) from one account to another would limit the amount of trades that I could execute.
I found various good arbitrage opportunities among local currency to BTC exchanges within the EU, for instance check out the CZK price on coinmate.io , BTC is going for $12088 (when converted), its USDT11,276 on poloniex right now.
Only thing that I am concerned is how you will deal with increased capital. I understand you were working with $800,000 of your own money before, but now you will be working with $2,000,000 investor money as well. Since most arbitrage positions are limited in size, you will need to execute more trades to maintain your proposed returns. Just remember most investors, such as myself, would even be happy with 20%, just please be transparent if you notice within the first week that your proposed returns must be adjusted, and do not take unnecessary risks, this should be risk-free after all. I wish you the best of luck!

I think bitbybit made a good point - some kind of ROI forecast for the month, maybe a worst/average/best case number that gets updated from time to time and will get closer to the final ROI at the end of the month might be a good thing.
