If I buy a pre-order on ebay, what is the escrow/guarantee that the seller will honor the agreement and ship the miner when its delivered in October or Novemeber?

Would paypal cover this? Because as far as I know, paypal only covers if I file the dispute within 1 month. By october it would be more than 2 months old order.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but I would be very cautious purchasing anything Bitcoin related on eBay, or using PayPal. Search the forums and you'll see the experiences that others have had with these companies and I'm certain you'll decide it's not worth the risk.

Chinese products have a reputation of not last long.

The reason why most small company chinese products dont have a warranty is because the developer himself doesn't know how long that would last :p

Don't buy preorders -- you're just doubling your chance to get scammed.  Either the seller will scam you or the company will never deliver.
