Should I invest my money on a lot of cheap alt coins like for example, verge/digibyte, buying 1000 to 2000 pieces of them, or should I buy a couple of big coins, 2 to 5 pieces of for example litecoin/eth.

What do you guys suggest?

Well, I would do the following:

If you have $1000, use 90% to buy more "established coins" for long-term holdings, like eth, litecoin, monero, ripple ... (Wait for btc, I think it will pop someday)

Use the rest of your portfolio, 10% to daytrade, so you can earn money while day trading and you don't get tempted to do it with your long-term holdings, and you remove your human need for instant gratification to earn profits.

I kinda started on a small investment like, I invested 20 dollars into btc and started trading, now I'm at 180 dollars.
So if I got alittle bit up, I should invest it on a bigger coin? Like eth,ltc and all that other coins?

Also is it okay to buy like 0.25 or 0.50 of a coin, like ETH or LTC?
Or is it more profitable if I buy 1 piece.

It's ok. Relatively few people buy an entire Bitcoin nowadays Smiley But check the rates and fees of whichever exchange you're using.

If you want to make more income (x2, x5, x10 your balance Cheesy ) the best way is buying cheap alt coins but the more income the more risk. Cheap altcoins can become trash coins in exchange sites and have tiny community so the time to get income maybe too long.

So should I instantly take it when I get income? Or should I wait alittle bit more when selling, since you said it's risky to trade alt coins, that it's very volatile.

I personally would probably stick to the more expensive coins. There’s a good market on them for a reason, seems like too many crypto currency’s come and go and be hard to find one that you can depend on in the long run.

It depends on your profit target or stops loss. Every time you decide to invest in altcoins, you must learn it, track its information, check on its application, does it has a large or small community?

Its okay to buy cheap alt coins but you should aware always because  i see a lot  cheaper coins got delisted in exchanges while those expensive coins  i dont see any of them got delisted cause theyre always pumping and dumping. i think you should buy expensive  just  for it to dump then buy then sell it high, for sure after dumping it will pump..just see the graph to make it sure.

I suppose an investment should be diversified. then the risk will be minimized. I have invested in cheaper coins as well as expensive coins.

I would honestly say that I think it doesn’t matter.

You don’t need to have a full coin, nor 10000 of a coin to be profitable. Make sure that you like the project and the people behind it. If you’re going to HODL, you’d better choose coins that you see having a strong future.

I wouldn’t buy Bitcoin at the moment, that’s like catching a falling knife. Pick it up from the ground, not earlier  Smiley

A few that have great potential IMHO: Ripple, Waves, Phore, Elixir.

I for one would likely adhere to the more costly coins. There's a decent market on them for a reason, appears like an excessive number of cryptographic money's come and go and be elusive one that you can rely upon over the long haul.

I personally buy expensive coins like btc or eth. The price of these expensive coins has recently increased in an incredible way. Ethereum's price has almost doubled in a very short time and goes up even though the btc has fallen. Cheaper coins as Doge or Digibyte are also a good choice but growing these coins is in smaller steps.
