7.5 btc will be enough for me. I can help my family with that and i wont be a burden to them ..   Sad
Here are people who are talking about hundreds of the bitcoins for them so that they can leave gambling and all that stuff... but I like you being so honest and truthful and realistic in your approach that you need only that much bitcoins that can be enough for making you quit this receivable game. Bitcoins are enough for you brother, quit this game and have a happy life.

It's impossible to stop gambling especially if you've won so much Bitcoin. On the other hand, most people only stop when they have got nothing left.
You are right, I don't think that people they didn't have any greed about money, even too bit greed. So even a gambler win a huge amount that he can live with it in the whole life, they want more.

Yeah, it is impossible that people stop or quit gambling if they already achieve their desire from it. Even i think gamblers play gambling more becasue they have earned from it and in gambling usually gamblers have no limitation to quit gambling in the winning stage. The reason Gamblers have no least stage of greediness.
Yes, no one can stop to gamble even he had achieved what he wanted to achieve from gambling in his life because the greed for more never allows them to sit at their place and they rely upon gambling to meet their basic life needs and for that, they simply move forward to gambling when they face financial crisis. I have also seen gamblers who are at the last stages of life but still they play gambling to earn money.
That's the thing that we need to work on if we are gambling all the time. The greediness inside of us is the only thing that comes between profit and loss. If you know how to control it and limit yourself it would be beneficial for yourself and also for your bank account. What do you even mean by last stages of life? Are they dying? Probably losing all of their money would result to that.
I think greed can never be erased as it is natural thing. But as you said, one can control his greed if can’t finish it at all because control is something that totally depends on the person himself.

If you will be the man of strong will power, then controlling greed for yourself would not be a big deal but if the case is opposite then no one can save you from meeting disastrous ends in the end of your life.
I agree with you my friend as it’s a natural thing also the people rely on gambling for meeting their basic life needs, so it becomes like a natural thing. Greed can never be erased from the person if once gets in him because he never becomes happy when he sees others very happy from their lives and he is not. This increases the greed of a person to get bigger things than he has instead of reducing it.

Who relies on gambling for basic life needs? Who makes a living out of gambling? It hardly happens outside movies and is extremely stupid to rely this much on gambling. As for greed, it varies with people, some wont ever be satisfied, some would be done with a single win and almost never return back to gambling again.
True, Gambling is a leisure activity. Relying on Gambling for basic life needs is foolish, will lead into bankruptcy and what next? *Suicide*?
Chasing your loses is  the worst thing to do while Gambling. Gamble what you can afford to lose.

I remember a whale 'AKCoinMiner' who has a whole farmhouse setup for Bitcoin Mining and there were stories that he mined 0.5 BTC a day, He lost 800+ Bitcoins on a rally over Primedice and was never seen again. I feel bad for him (He gave me a 0.5 BTC Rain Smiley )

For and addicted gambler, no amount of profit will stop them from gambling because they are addicts.

For reasonable people though this is not true and one might stop after winning a set amount of money. But there's no end of greediness.

In my case, I will stop after winning 10 BTC because I'll be too busy Driving my Porsche instead of Gambling^^

How many BTC it would take for you to quit gambling and why? Or, if any amount of BTC would make you quit gambling at all.

Well, as for will need like 50 Bitcoin if the value of bitcoin increase to $50,000 and I will also quite gambling if I loose one bitcoin at the rate of $10,000 and that is my bench mark on both side for me to quite gambling.

Hmm.. I actually had not thought about that side of it.. How much I would lose in $ if I lost 1 BTC. That's an interesting idea! I believe that right now (1 BTC = $15k) I would not like to lose 1 BTC. Even 0.1 BTC would hurt a bit haha.. 50 BTC should be enough to quit it all (If you believe value will only increase). Smiley

It's not about the amount of bitcoin i lose but it's the attitude I gained. Sometimes being addicted to gambling will lead you to a messy life. So I think if I felt that in having a hard time with my life due to gambling then it's time for me to give up gambling.

AkCoinMiner! This name brings back memories. He was a huge whale, rich rains, good old times.
I think gambler, even a little active knew about him. He was famous, back when i joined this forums.
Maybe he changed his PD handle, or just left gambling (or just PD?) for his own good. Crazy gambler.

Real question isn't that what it will take you to stop gambling but the real question is that until how much time you can resist yourself from getting into it again. Humans have a very unsatisfactory nature. A few days after you are bored of driving your Porsche you will come back to the world of gambling.

gambling addiction can make some people crumble and have nothing.
but this is all back to the gambler.
as strong as he can control the game faithfully.
or in the targeted number so we can know when we stop in the gambling and restart

Yep.. I've been gambling for the better part of the past 10 years and I've won a lot of money over the time, big wins and small wins. I've never thought of completely quitting after one of those big wins. I usually want to continue and get another one of the big wins or more than it Cheesy.

You require 50 btc to stop gambling cool had it being a 100$ btc price somebody would have given a though but asking for 50000$ btc price so its like assumed that you would not like to quit easily and it is going to be difficult for you only as addiction ratio is quite high and you might fall in that trap if you do not have a control on it.

50BTC is a lot of money even at the current prices, with that amount of money I will not only quit my gambling I will also quit my job and retire, that is a huge fortune and if bitcoin reached 50k then I will be set for the rest of my life and never have to lift a finger or perform any other job.

I do think that those real gambler addicts who are really into gambling are really hard for them to stop gambling, even if they get 100BTC or more they still will not stop because as you said greediness is always there. One can only stop from gambling and be being addicted when they change themselves for the better and not because of the money. Probably, they will get more into gambling because they know that they won so they will be gambling more and more. They can quit in gambling forever anytime if they want to change themselves that's what I think.

I would say that I would quit already once I lose like about something worth $20,000. That might not be something big for a high roller, but that's like a life savings for small people. I guess that question should change it to dollars, as the BTC equivalent will always change through time and it would change drastically when prices change as well.

That is a hell of a lot of money to lose haha.. But let's focus on the other side instead, how many bitcoins would it take for you to walk away that you can "pocket"? Say you win a jackpot of 20 BTC, would that be enough? 30? 40?. Obviously someone losing that amount would have to be just a little bit more than crazy as I can't believe how anyone could justify continuing after even losing half of that.

Most of the gamblers doesn't know when to stop even when they gain huge profits from gambling and that is why they are caught by the house edge implemented by the casino, I have seen too much players with huge profits stats to huge negative stats due to greed as they kept on wagering in dice game.

If you do ask on different way regarding on how much winnings for you to stop gambling completely then i would say there would be no such amount because people are most of the time greedy when it comes to money. Im sure they would really aim for more money than on planning to quit immediately after a huge win. There would be no satisfaction as long we do know we have a money in our pocket to spend on.

That's sad because people should be satisfied with the things that they have achieved, especially if we are just talking about gambling. Multiplying your money by two would be already a lot and you could set that up as your limit so it would be fun to stop already knowing that you have already made a profit. People should learn that the right way and apply it to themselves instead of throwing money to people that are already rich.

People are only claim about it, but in fact, i never see anyone who have won a jackpot and then quit gambling forever. Even i see mostly jackpot winner do more greedy and till the end of their jackpot money they continue to play gambling and in the end they have lost their jackpot's money and then again they come on the race to win the jackpot in gambling. So it is useless to decide that if we win big money from gambling then we quit it.

Yeah, obviously that would more than often happen due to the greed but just generally speaking, how much would it take for you to walk away and never look back? Cheesy.

I've been playing around with the idea a while, I honestly think 50 BTC would be it for me. Hard to say that I'd be able to never look back but 50 BTC in my pocket would surely help Smiley.
