So I am on Changelly and I sent BTC for XMR and it is not being recorded on the blockchain it's been a day or many hours. Changelly cannot help because the transaction id is not showing up.

I have a "Status: 0/unconfirmed, in memory pool" on transaction details on bitcoin app.

Should I do what is on this topic?? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2613859.0

This is literally all the bitcoin I have.

I don't want to mess it up for good so is this going to help confirm the transaction?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

If you do not control the private key of the sending address there is nothing you can do yourself
Can you post the transaction TX or the sending BTC address?

Like i said... if you don't control the private key for this address there is nothing you can do.

The address does not show the transaction you posted on the blockchain so it is not picked up at the moment.

How do you know it will eventually be picked up? I never waited this long and it concerns me.

Good news! I have my bitcoins back. I went ahead and used -zapwallettxes in bitcoin-qt.exe properties and it rescanned the blockchain, required 5 hours I think. Then restarted bitcoin without -zapwallettxes.

Backup your wallet FIRST before doing the above, just in case.
