Very neat concept, I'm amused as the game is now, can't wait for the finished/more detailed versions.
edit* My only discrepency is the fighting. If two people attack each other, they both automatically die?
yes, 1 attack = death... I think strategies will evolve as it is (it will have to if they want to get coins efficiently)...
People will probably need to have many characters and sacrifice them to cause diversions to get to a coin...
The mechanics will change some with the next one ..
This will possibly be the map of a finite size (250x250? we haven't decided yet) :
Each colour spawns in their own area...
You cannot attack your own colour.
The Map Reward Coins spawn around the middle of the map (light blue squares)..
To Cash your coins in you will need to bring them back to your spawn area.. you can be killed and someone can steal your looted coins..
Miners will probably only receive 10-20% of what is going into the game each block, but may receive tax when coins are brought back to the spawn area (note: this may not work, maybe miners will only process none attack moves)
the names and game window will be split (names tab + game tab), with arrows for movement, attack button, and chat should hold the last 5 blocks or so..
the Full Chronokings characters will (hopefully) have health points and different types of attacks :
Damage over time (DoTs aka poisons), Direct Damage (DD) and Heals (direct heals and heals over time [HoTs]), maybe root (unable to move)..
Pathfinding: Yes we will definitely need point and click
