Most people here and reddit will defend bitcoin no matter what instead of looking at the problems. Every time someone comments something about the speed or transaction fees they will just yell ''FUD'' or ''Another attack on bitcoin'' but it's not always that. I have been a strong supporter of bitcoin myself but we have to face it, it's not in a good position right now, sure the price is great but what else? Insane fees that are not getting solved any time soon? I know the demand is high but the ones that are buying are just buying to sell eventually not to support bitcoin, not to use it. The demand will eventually fade away and what do we have left? An outdated bitcoin that won't be able to compete with better coins.

The way I see it, these people who ought to be defending bitcoin must be the ones who benefit from bitcoin. I'm quite sure that they have experienced how great bitcoin is and earned money using investments on bitcoin, that's why it's natural for them to defend bitcoin no matter what.
For usurer it is doubtless that some people support the currency they get profit from and we all knows how profitable currency and investment bitcoin is and it was. Bitcoin has been proven best investment for a lot of years still people believe in bitcoin as they know bitcoin can make them rich, and they know bitcoin is only way to get fast income for your present and it is the only way to secure your future. So people are extremely attached to bitcoin for many reasons.

It is still giving profit to people, people just need to find the best time for invest, as current time is the best time for investment in bitcoin, because currently the bitcoin price is trading low but very soon its price will start increasing. Bitcoin will continue giving profit for a long time because still there is too much potential in bitcoin.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and seeing all the arguments about bitcoin every time it changes its price by a significant value, a biased people will show up as you said, saying that people who are not actually biased and are totally honest about the current situation of bitcoin will argue over them, resulting to more FUDs and causing more panic selling.

It's really just ''cringe'' and I do not like to use that word. You see plenty of threads on reddit trying to explain why you should buy now or why bitcoin is going to be amazing instead of talking about real issues, adoption, for example. Any successful cryptocurrency helps the cryptomarket as well, instead you have people fighting all the time instead of proposing any solutions or improvements. You see people here making threads about bitcoin falling to ''x'' price or rising to ''x'' price all the time too, the whole place is clouded with meaningless threads and posts, you can barely find real news or articles about bitcoin or cryptos in general.

Indeed, I also hate to see many garbage threads which always repeats the thought that the price is going down or going high. It does not help the community but makes a diversion to those who wants to invest. I we stop spreading negativity then maybe it would help to encourage investors to keep patronize cryptocurrencies.

Too few of those who understand how these currencies work, and what their consequences are. Anyway, it's completely incomprehensible to me what is deceit and what is true. But the crypto currency is undoubtedly very important.

The problem is huge as cryptocurrencies are a priori seen as an illegal mean of payment. We have to raise awareness among the authorities and create a clear image of how this technology can be used for good. Some companies are exploring the possibilities.

It is actually true, most late investors of bitcoin are not actually after it's use case, they are after the money. I really think that the more people who are doing bitcoin transactions the higher the fee goes and the slower the transactions are. There are only few miners since mining is not that profitable anymore.

To keep bitcoin more competitive and reliable we should focus on the infrastructure we make  mining a profitable. So the system become faster. Not only that we should think of profit but also we should think of what we can do to improve bitcoin infrastructure.

To be fair, regulations seem to be coming soon. They said very clearly, at the G20 meeting yesterday, that they will review regulations in July. USA is also regulating ICO's and cryptocurrencies in general, I'm fairly sure we are going to see plenty of new laws and regulations this year, worldwide. However as you said, raising awareness is good, specially with all the fake and exaggerated news that are tainting this crypto space.

It's time to start investing in bitcoin, because at the moment the bitcoins price is low, but very soon its price will start to grow. Bitcoin will continue to make a profit for a long time, because in bitcoin there are too many opportunities. I think that increasing the fee and delaying the transaction confirmation time is a big problem.

Forks and innovations in the network are happening to resolve all these insane fees that becomes a problem to transfers of funds in different addresses in the blockchain. Mentioning about the "selling of Bitcoin that doesn't support Bitcoin because it isn't how to be used" is the thing of how things work as of now. Not that many businesses use Bitcoin to circulate their money around the economy due to its property of becoming a volatile asset which can be found hard to trust for profits. If Bitcoin somehow becomes stable in price OR it becomes "stable" to be a currency then the use of it will expand. Selling Bitcoin won't be a the major factor that covers the purpose of the Bitcoin if this happens.

I don't think governments aren't aware or they lack awareness. Most probably are just wary about something like crypto and it's effects in the future. But they realize it's here to stay hence the need for regulations to make sure it's at least safe for users

That's absolutely OK I think; for some BTC is the reason of their wealth, some just strongly believe; I don't see any problem in being biased towards bitcoin because it's still a n1 currency in crypto.

Hi,

You are quite right when you say that many people buy only to sell. That's called trading and this is what has made bitcoin famous. That's logical to see this happen because many newbies come to bitcoin sure they can make huge profits in no time. Well... No.

And then about obsolescence.. Again, this is true. But here I disagree with you. I don't think we should give up bitcoin, I am convinced we should work on the technology and improve it. Because bitcoin will have the biggest community just because of its status of "first crypto ever". So instead of throwing it immediately, maybe we could improve it?

People may not realized the importance of bitcoin and other crypto currencies. I admit that bitcoin now is in a very low level of rate but that is just a crisis that will  just pass by.

We are, I am but I'm not lying about it like them. Most of them would tell you that they are holding forever but 99.99% of them aren't and they will panic sell just as easily.

Bitcoin image has spread throughout the world as a crime currency, with existing anonymous facilities making many cases of financial crime involving bitcoin, yeah I think we should make them realize/awareness that bitcoin is not just an illegal currency but can be used for positive things, many people are helped because the secure, decentralized bitcoin finance system gives everyone complete freedom, that's a small example
