It is the bitcoin correction and we know that when bitcoin makes a rapid movement, other coins are also affected that is why it seems that there is a synchronize movement when bitcoin makes this move. Others are maybe cashing out for christmas and then others stay in fiat because we know for a time that there is an impending correction that it is happening now. You just need to protect your funds by staying in fiat or buying altcoins that are cheap now.

Well, altcoins depend on the bitcoins price in the market. The reason why everyone is cashing out. Is because they are afraid they will not make a profit from their investment in the end.

Well that is expected specially when the peak prices of crypto are occuring now. The tendency to gain slme profit is to sell when the price is extremely high but considering and expecting price hikes before it falls.

Yeah the Christmas cash-in
Yeah you could say that, but mostly people are just following the trend it's just panic selling. BTC and several other altcoins have seen maybe new investors in past few months, people who don't know anything about cryptos are just going to follow the herd and sell as soon as they see little drops in price. That's what is happening right now, but now that price is dropped more people are going to invest and price will be back up soon.

I saw that kind of scenario before. So yes, the bitcoin price will go up again, maybe in a matter of days only. Large investors are now buying again because bitcoin has low price. Traders are happy with this kind of situation.

The previous situations of bitcoin fluctuation is coming back again and the transparency on how it performed from previous months ago. I think those cashing in and holding their bitcoins might be able to help the next pump of its price for next year, but the price this year wasn't able to be stabilized due to lots of people who been dumping. Well the opportunity now is a better idea while the price declines for the main time, most importantly long term investments is a good mindset to those who saved bitcoin for the future.

This sudden drop is/was a dump which is already correcting itself. Traders and newcomers and propably others as well as cashing out profits, taking a breath and enjoying holiday season. Investors and smart money are cashing in at dropped prices. There will propably be similar fluctuations before end of the year, making opportunities to buy low and sell high. I think I will be holding and watching this through, do little bit of day trading every now. Happy holidays Smiley

Yes, this Holiday is more likely the reason . People are going to their homeland or hometown to gather with families and of course they need money for the gathering.

Not all. When instances like this occurs, do not panic sell. Just keep holding your coins because it will soon recover after holiday season. This dump is already expected so why panic? I believe that we really cannot control crypto coins' volatility but we can know how to manage our belongings.

A lot of people cashing out. You can't expect people to do +50% gains in just one month an not cash out.
Now i see after drop to 13K, BTC is back to 14.5K in a few minutes, meaning a lot of investors are buying "cheap" now

Some cashes out due to the large profit (last several weeks). But in the long term, it is worth investing despite the decline in rates of cryptocurrencies.

I think some people ware cashing out to make sure they have FIAT funds to spend over the Christmas holidays. It is also a correction from the recent rapid rises. I would expect normal interest to return at the start of January.

Year end is a festival, holiday time. People accumulate money the whole year and spend the same at the end of it. That is why in the last week of every year all the markets all over the world go down. People cash out their investments. Bitcoin which is crossed $19000 mark is around $14000. For many this is an opportunity to jump into currency market. Year end is the best time to invest in.

as someone mentioned it has to do with Christmas and weekend that's coming, it's an opportunity to scoop in cheap coins. I envision that this will continue till New Year and weak hands will leave.

Maybe some of them cashing out into Fiat but I don't think that is the main reasons why the price go down, in this very week we already see a lot of increasing so it's normal now we have correction, but usually the price will be back to normal after Christmas

After network issues too many people start to cash out and getting profits.
This is for bitcoin and ethereum. But there are profitable coins so i do not cashout.
