The method I always used to obtain BitCoin was through BitInstant. I always enjoyed paying cash and getting my BTC instantly. Now that that option has been destroyed, I have no idea what to do.
Is there an alternative to BitInstant where I can make an order, go to CVS or wherever and pay cash, and receive BitCoins? Or something the similiar? I mean I would happily go to a Chase bank and make a deposit of $500 or so to get BTC in my wallet.
I know this is a newbie question, so please do not flame me for it. I really am just curious. Thank you!

Check out bitcoin-brokers.org. May be what you're looking for. I've been using the service recently, and have had easy transactions with quick replies from the help-desk. Here's the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237164.160

You can also buy a MoneyPak code with cash at a CVS, Rite-Aid, Walgreen's, Wal-Mart etc. Instead of using the MoneyPak code to load your own prepaid debit card, you could sell the code to someone here for BTC. More info about MoneyPak reloads can be found here: https://www.moneypak.com/ReloadHowItWorks.aspxIf you would like to give it a try and are willing to send the MoneyPak code first, I'd be willing to sell BTC to you for any amount up to $500 at the Mt Gox Last rate, which is currenty $96.132.

You may try Bitstamp, best BTC exchange I played with, but only from inside EU. No idea how is it working from outside.

There are 20 BTC for sale for cash deposit on https://www.buybitcoin.us at JP Morgan Chase banks. This is the EASIEST and FASTEST way to convert FIAT to BTC on the market. Yes, we are new, but we hope you'll give us a shot and maybe even leave us a review. We verify the BTC actually exist by making the sellers deposit their BTC into an escrow address created for each and every sell order (that we can control with a private key that is stored OFFLINE in case our servers are compromised) before the listing is put up for sale.

Dude, www.localbitcoins.com is the way forward, you can track down buyers/sellers in your area, pay with cash, do a cash deposit at their bank if anonymity is an issue, you can also pay with multiple mediums in the US (presuming thats where your based).... youv'e got it easy, here in the UK its twice as much of a ball ache!
