Now there are a few alternative exchanges. I think more alternatives will emerge. This will benefit all of us in the face of reduced fees and increased quality of services.
I agree, I think that the future belongs to the decentralised exchanges as people are tired of hacks and problems on the centralised exchanges and no longer trust them. Yes it does, but we do not know when that is going to happen, it will be nice to have a decentralized exchange that everyone recognizes as the best and the one that you should use but still there is not a decentralized exchange that we can say is better than the rest of them and still they very far away from offering all the options that centralized exchanges offer. |

I still trade on Etherdelta and so far this exchange still safe , my problem only too long loading when log in to my account. Other option for decentralized exchange is Idex.market . This is look better than EtherDelta and friendly interface with Trading View platform and also they has official telegram group now so really help when any problem during trading.

I have heard a lot of negative comments about etherdelta, but I think it is still safe to do our transaction in its website. More people are still doing their transaction and still their assets are not being compromised. So for me, I can say that it is still safe.  |

Most people that used etherdelta before don't have any options on their coins. Heard forkdelta is the new version? A much more improved platform as they say. |

This is written in ForkDelta website "This interface is a fork of EtherDelta with a ton of improvements including a much faster order processing system. It interacts with ForkDelta's revamped API and EtherDelta's original contract." I prefer using ForkDelta because it's much more secure, no news about the website being hacked until now. You are in charge of your own wallet safety so i recommend using MetaMask to store your coins, also don't forget to store and encrypt your seed phrase somewhere! Due to a lot of copycat phishing website for MEW i prefer using MetaMask Also another good rule of thumb is to make sure you transfer back your coin from exchanges wallet back to your MetaMask's wallet if you're planning to leave it be for sometimes, it decreases the change of being a victim if the exchange you're trading on is unfortunately getting hacked. Please note that MetaMask is only available through Google Chrome extensions (watch out for copycat!), Firefox Add-on, and via Brave browser. None of exchanges are safe, but we don't have a big choice when it comes to decentralized exchanges. IDEX is very laggy, deposits can last up to several hours, which is not acceptable for me. Etherdelta and Forkdelta work much fater but they don't have enought trading volume. But I use to trade on Forkdelta and it looks better than others now.

In fact, now there are alternative exchanges. And they have already been mentioned many times in this topic. In my opinion, the exchange took a pause to implement the planned improvements. After a while, we will see the updated Delta. It was never comfortable. It is possible that the new owners will solve this problem. |

These boths are good but still EtherDelta is one of best for trading the coins are not listed on big exchanges but you need to do all this with very care as its your money and you must check all things before depositing after hacking we have still some bad news but if you can do all this with care and have all safety measures then surely you have no problem IDEX and ForkDelta have not volume of trade like EtherDelta just because of this still its first choice for many coins traders |

As long as I do exchange on EtherDelta I never have a problem, as long as we are careful. My constraint is only slow when opening EtherDelta, and also when doing transaction. probably because the network can also because many people are using at the same time, I just use EtherDelta to exchange ERC20 not somewhere else only in EtherDelta.

Why? I think EtherDelta is still a reliable exchange. If you are afraid, you can also use metamask.
It looks like Etherdelta is having a change of look and fixing it all up, with that market there is an IDEX market that seems to be replacing Etherdelta. And it's better if you want to trade on Etherdelta not get everything you put in there |

until now I have not felt any problem in etheredelta but etherdelta is not my favorite market exchange. etherdelta becomes the last solution when this market volume is highest among other market. so far i can say etherdelta is still safe.

yep etherdelta is a trash exchange now, all ERC20 tokens are listed there have low price value and your wallet can be hacked if you import there. EtherDelta! Best exchanges as of now is forkdelta, coinexchange, IDEX and kucoin probably. |

You're wrong, don't rely on metamask it just only avoid phishing sites. There are people who uses metamask but recently their token are gone in etherdelta so i dont refer this thing as the "impossible got hack" thing. There's no safe thing in the internet as long as you've not entering some suspicious sites. |

The best thing you can do is to use Metamask. If you are using Myetherwallet, you can import it to Metamask to avoid compromising your private key. You can also use ForkDelta platform and IDEX as an alternative platform for Ethereum tokens. Make sure that you don't import you main wallet. Create a new wallet that can only be use for trading purposes. |

I think it is always better to scan your personal devices regularly for virus or malware, and it is not advisable for anyone to keep huge amount of ERC 20 tokens or etheruem on EtherDelta, the best way to store your ERC 20 tokens and ethereum safely would still be a wallet that you are in control of the private key.
