If you are using Etherdelta then you must use metamask. MEtamask saved me when etherdelta hacked.
Its a very nice tool and safe to use.

I never thought that etherdelta can be hacked when I saw the tweet of ED I was in a shock. I still have my 4 ethereum deposited there once ED gets running I'll withdraw every thing from there, I will not use it any more.

the exchange site needed some work.

It's safe but remember you must try to flush your dns to avoid your connection still connected to the previous dns but overall I'm using etherdelta right now and all of the transaction goes smoothly.

last I read the news on twitter etherdelta, all is safe.
this is news written.

I think i have learned my lesson already. Although i haven't lost any amount of money unlike others, seeing a lot of them lose money if frightening enough for me to make me turn a 180 degrees away from etherdelta and look for better ones out there. Im currently looking at metamask right now. If i don't see anything wrong with it, i might use this rather than risk my hard earned funds on etherdelta.

Flush your DNS cache before you go to the site again. Otherwise leave it for a few more days.

In cases like this I would rather wait a little bit before sending funds to the exchange, even after positive announcement of Etherdelta. Better safe than sorry.

Now etherdelta website is now resume on its trading platform, I don't know if it is still safe to use. Honestly I felt scared to use it again, due to for what happen yesterday. I think I need to check their social media update about it.

i think its back and safe now . But still , we should always be vigilant about this phishing/hacking attempts . Bookmark etherdelta's website so you wont be able to be fooled by those external link . Always open it on our bookmarks . Plus dont click links in your email unless you trust that its safe and you know the sender . Although its very risky to do that . You'll never know if the sender is being used by a hacker . So here is some tips , never ever click links from stangers / random emails etc . Always check the address bar , it should have some special green words before the site address . And make sure to double check before importing your account . Enter a dummy private key , and if you can login then its the legit site . If not then you should stay away from it . Thats what i do always .

Well that is the most expensive coins are traded on other exchanges. So I recommend to use extensions for browsers EtherAddressLookup, it will protect you from phishing sites and will help to save your coins and private keys.

I never use direct access to Etherdelta because still risky for me. The safest way are using Metamask to secure your private key from Hacker
