Hello fellow users,
I am just thinking that what process does the current bounty managers undergo before they become what they are in the forum. Are there any requirements such as no negative trust, the forum rank, experience, if there are other please let me know. I find it hard to organize a bounty campaign and I am just curious about it.

Apart from few users that just give low offers to owners so they would be the chosen one for the position, the genuine managers should have the following qualities as well (apart from what you listed): 1. Having a good understanding of what forums rules are and be able to follow it and also enforce it on campaign itself (or else you'll end up with these issues: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1684035.0) 2. If they'll be handling payouts, they should already have some trades below their belt (within the involved amount, a precaution). 3. Punctuality is a plus.

I believe that a bounty manager should have such knowledge and skills: 1. Understand how the forum works, what are the rules and etc. 2. be scrupulous and very punctual. Because this work requires a lot of time and attention to details. 3. Be friendly, honest and of course, know English very well. About ranks and etc. - it's good to be at least junior member to make the thread more attractive (with pictures and so on)

Having a good work ethic and being very punctual are some of the most important skills you must have to become a bounty manager. It's not entirely impossible to become one, even if you don't have much trust yet on the forum.
You probably won't be allowed to handle funds if that's the case, but you can work yourself up, I've seen relatively new members do this.
It's important that you put yourself out there and offer possible customers a great deal at first.

Correct, All bounty managers as of now did able to experience such hardship when they are just starting up since we do all know that no one do start to become expert on all sort of things. Reputation and trust can be built but it would really takes time. As eternalgloom was saying here, you should just mind first on the first deals to be smooth and good handling because feedbacks would really pile up sooner or later until you would able to build your reputation and trust and you might be consider to be as one.

Do not become a bounty manager, find a better business idea Most ICOs I see here seem very shady to me. I somehow see similarities to HYIP scams.

To be a bounty or campaign manager, in my opinion, one or the salient feature if you want to be taken seriously, is to have 1. Contribute to the community to a large extent, be there to solve problems, share knowledge, make it cleaner and not be found guilty of any violation of the rule whether written or unwritten because that can come back to bite you even if you did it when you were a novice or newbie. 2. Attention to details is another key to ensure all loose ends are taken care of. In the process of dealing with people, you have to face some opposition and that can be avoided with simple attention to details. 3. If you manage to have gotten one campaign or project to manage, try as much as possible to live up to standard at every time because a simple mistake can bring down the entire reputation you might have garnered over the years.

The first thing you need is the experience. While newbies in this field will find it tough to gain a position in the competition but the easiest way to do this is to become an assistant manager for projects. Assist the main manager in managing the ICO bounty campaigns and this should build up your experience. Once you have gained a good portfolio you can venture into the Bounty Management solo. Along with this a good reputation is the community is not essential but is always a plus point. As far as ranks are concerned there is no set rules but obviously nobody will accept a newbie. The most important requirement - that you must a client!
I dont understand your statement.

What is this bounty manager all about?
Bounty manager- from the word itself you do manage the bounty program of a certain project or ICO. This job do really need reputable and trustable managers which can able to handle and manage campaigns because it wont really be an easy task considering there would really be lots to handle specially you would gonna handle hundreds of people from various programs, either signature, social to translations. If you are not capable and reputable then no one would really consider you. Having a good work ethic and being very punctual are some of the most important skills you must have to become a bounty manager. It's not entirely impossible to become one, even if you don't have much trust yet on the forum.

Managing is always a challenging. If you manage successfully it will be your credit. In this way if you have a proper knowledge about forum and its activities you can apply for a manager. But you have to be honest to your duty.

Bounty managing is not really a job. It is a part-time method to promote a project in this forum. However many people are doing this full-time themselves or with a team nowadays and its a pretty demanding job if you ask me. From keeping threads in place to answering shitposters messages and keeping telegram updated and brain-dead shills at bay, its not something an average dude like me will be able to do. Getting a position in a company is like a job position and you need education and qualification for that. That is more of a professional position. Managing a bounty and working at a company are totally different things altogether.

Bounty managing is not really a job.
If it pays you and you put your time and efforts into it,it's a fuckin job! It is a part-time method to promote a project in this forum.
*Claps Slowly* - Your Logic Astounds me.I guess there is no such term as 'part-time jobs'. However many people are doing this full-time themselves or with a team nowadays and its a pretty demanding job if you ask me.
You just said it is not a job and now you are calling it a demanding job ? Hypocrite much ? From keeping threads in place to answering shitposters messages and keeping telegram updated and brain-dead shills at bay, its not something an average dude like me will be able to do.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't.

I really agree with the third point. but mostly to be a bounty manager that ranks already HERO of course because of their experience in this forum of course, though so there are also some less good managers in checking the final bounty of ICO. and there are only a few bounty managers who really check as in tokenmarket.net
