Hi buddies,

Since I am being part of the forum. I noticed many projects has been advertized in the forum with the signature campaigns. People who ever know completely about the bitcoin marketing side, without this forum they cannot market their project among the bitcoin or altcoins user. In that situation till last there was many signature campaign specially runs for gambling, mixers, exchanges, debit card services and even adult services also advertized here with the huge payments. But recent days I don't understand that investors turns to ICO alone or gambling investors and others are no more needed to advertised with the bbcode.

You may check the top ten ICO list in any site. Almost 6 to 7 ICOs will used the signature campaigning as the one source for marketing. That is the power of signature campaign managers. Since we have most trusted campaign managers like Yahoo, Lauda, edwarded and etc. Investors reach them promote the project around with the signature contains your site link and other information.

I think that it will helps from project owner to till bbcode creator or campaign participant. Thank you.

With faith on bitcoin and forum members,

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Those new projects are just not taking its serious. in most cases they just need to collect some money and the only amount they want to risk for it is  like paying couple hundreeds to a campaygn manager. I am more than sure that they also trying to advertise themselves on websites offering token payments for the service.  This is not just greedy but it also harms the investors because such tokens always dump the price. Btw signature campaigns are not that expensive comparing to some websites.

I have no idea what is going on here.I was pretty confused after reading the original post and this reply added to it.

@OP,your point being ? Is the title of this thread rhetorical ? FYI,signature campaigns for the altcoins don't cost shit since they pay in tokens and not in bitcoins. They're not even proper signature campaigns but just part of the bounties.

From last year to till this time, a lot of things have happened. Regulations have gotten tighter with people now more conscious of what is the legal status of what I am operating or I intend to operate from last year. This year we have seen a major mixing site closed down and anyone cannot just take it up without putting a lot of things in consideration.

Another is the continued increase in the price of bitcoin. The whole of companies that are running some form of campaign cough out quite an amount of dollars weekly which was not as expensive as last year where I could run a campaign without having to break the bank.

Another reason is the issue particular to the forum, today, a lot of threads are being created for the same purpose with people giving the same answer all over again. So if I as an individual wants to set up and cannot afford to hire a manager, I would rather not be involved. But in all, we have faired better and it can only get better.

You are right bro. Since bitcoin technology is best one to secure their firewall and etc.. Why we only finds the ICO projects alone maximum here. We compare with the adoption rate and usages bitcoin and altcoins moving forward but no perfect project directly expect start with the ICO pipeline.

Campaign price changes and rules changed in the forum does not matter but less number of marketing their service has been reduced in the forum that is what I noticed compared with 2016 and 17.

Yeah thanks to those managers who are actually struggling for the forum and keeping it clean all the time! Im sure that ICO project will be coming soon but for now the reason why there are not much signature campaign is the price of bitcoin. Its too much to pay the decent amount of payouts. Its not about reducing the BTC payment and giving out the same equivalent amount USD but the major drawback is increased instability of the rates. Campaigns might fix X payout but it could be X+Y while at the end of week. It collapses the proper planning and fund management. This is just my speculation but things could be different than this.

Numbero of ICOs popping around the corner is actually a good start in making the cryptocurrency world a better scene and appealing to the people and the governments as well. A couple of months ago, ICOs popped like crazy and many people were burned due to the fact that almost all of them are just there to rob people off their money. As for the campaigns, the number is still decent and the members they allow to enter are still okay considering that they are trying their best to operate at the lower cost possible while still seeing some positive results for their ad campaign. The managers are also screening the aspiring members of the campaign very well in order to minimize the spam in this forum since it's a go-to for third world citizens that wants to earn some cash on the side.

Your title actually mislead me, made me think that you were talking about the total number of campaigns that have reduced since 2016-17.
ICOs are actually a better way of marketing IMHO because they don't need to put in their own funds and give what they get (out of our pockets obviously) as normal Bitcoin signature campaigns need BTC available with them already (whether the manager keeps it or escrow) but they need to show the proof, whereas if they are giving tokens, I don't think that they are under any danger of losing their reputation as whatever they have promised, they can deliver with their tokens. Nowadays, I'm seeing more ICOs coming with combined payment structure like some tokens + BTC which is one of the best structures many people prefer over BTC alone.

Some of the campaigns are run by campaign members which are actually doing some quality control, but others are either using a user which isn't very reputable/experienced or they are running it themselves.

There's needs to be more quality control, especially with the ICOs paying stakes. These sort of campaigns are causing a lot of the spam over in the alt coin section, as well as intention bumping from newly created accounts. You only have to take a look at the bounty section, and take a look at some of the members which are enrolled in some of the campaigns and the majority of them are posting "Good project", "Will invest" and a random line praising the coin and then adding "Good luck" on the end.
