They know it... A month ago they asked me what is it. I've recommended to add XPM/BTC pair already.

They are that out of touch? Wow.

It is arguably the third most popular coin currently after BTC and then LTC (and LTC popularity on the decline). Definitely an opportunity for them and I would rather not keep using mcxnow.  Realsolid does not strike me as trustworthy at all.

I also want to trade XPM on BTC-e, it definitely deserve to be on BTC-e.

But right now: PhenixEX is really great exchange where we can trade XPM! and their affiliate system is working smothly.
Thats why I have referral code in my signature...use it now and have lower fees forever.

I dont get why are you so rude.
Phenixex is very young, but I already made some money through affiliate system and you can also be affiliate...
For few weeks old exchange it is doing pretty well...adding new coins, chat working now, i see continuous improvements.
Yes, the volume is low, but every exchange have to start from zero.

Because you're just thread jacking for your own self centered interests.  This thread is about supporting XPM on btc-e, not on some shitty exchange that was originally created for a scam coin.

I want to see XPM on btc-e added as well as you, it is most reasonable move since FTC was added to btc-e (and CNC was closed). You are right I am offering an alternative, but I am definitely focus on my own interest. I promise to you no more Phenixex propaganda in this thread.

Primecoin is a useless coin, even if there is more work than all other crap coins here...

Only naive people think it's useful for scientific research.

Why useless?

On January 25, 2013, the largest prime number yet - the 48th Mersenne prime - was discovered: It's value is 257,885,161 - 1 = 581,887,266...724,285,951 - the entire number in text format is available for the viewing here. Beware: The number contains 17,425,170 digits and is stored as a 22 MB text-file.

The discovery, like that of all the major primes since 1997, was made at the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (GIMPS), a distributed computing network over the WWW. Specifically, it was made on the computer of Curtis Cooper, a volunteer and mathematician. The network itself involves 360,000 CPUs peaking at 150 trillion calculations per second . In comparison, the Jaguar supercomputer - one of the world's fastest - clocks 1,750 trillion calculations per second at its peak.

It won't ever get better than researchers working with supercomputers.

Primecoin is not about finding the largest prime number.
It is not even about finding every prime number.
It is not about finding Mersenne Primes.
It is about finding Cunningham chains. No-one else is doing this. It is useful.

Primecoin isn't searching for Mersenne primes, it is searching for Cunningham chains, and it's broken many world records already. The utility of all primes is debatable, but remind me again what the utility of the SHA256 PoW algorithm is again? Oh right, nothing. The fact that its proof of work is different from all other cryptos alone makes it the #3 coin.

It is a coin with a secure network (high hashrate), 1 minute confirmation times, so far has proved fairly GPU-resistant (though may change) and it does not search for prime numbers.  It looks for cunningham and bitwin chains, useful in cryptography research.  It has already broken over 20 world records.  I like how you comment about a coin you have know nothing about.

It seems to be in a close 3rd to XPM in trading volume (based on BTC value traded per day, not # of coins) and on some days is ahead of LTC even.
