FAQ:
1) I saw that starting at airdrop 2, MNs can use newbie accounts on Bitcointalk. Can you please update that in the airdrop form?
A: The form wiill get updated in preparation for round 2. Until then, you won't see it added to the current text.
2) If I own multiple MNs, do I need to use a different newbie account for each form submission or could I use the same Bitcointalk account?
A: You can do that if you want, but bonuses are given to large balance holders. In your case with so many MNs, it's probably beneficial to make multiple accounts.
3) Do I need to fill out the airdrop form each week or just 1 time per masternode?
A: You only need to fill out the airdrop form once.
4) How does aomeone know they've been approved for the whitelist? Will you put that information on thr airdrop form?
A: You'll know if you receive CMOS in the distribution phase, between round 1 and 2.
5) Some users reported issue with typing their username with spaces on the airdrop form. Has this been resolved?
A: Allowing all characters is a hackers wet dream. There are no plans to accept all characters in the near future. People with prohibited characters should email me at
cosmoscoindevelopment@gmail.com and I will deal with them on a case by case basis.
6) Will masternode holders need seperate Discord accounts per masternode or can I use the same name if I own multiple MN's and still get the 20% bonus on each? Will that be documented on the airdrop?
Use the same name, but most MN holders it will not be worth submitting multiple forms. The bonuses are small and it would only be of benefit to large holders (>5MNs) to take advantage of this.
7) Did we apply for other smaller exchanges like Stocks.Exchange and Yobit? I know Yobit listing was often very cheap.
A: Stocks.Exchange is planned. Yobit could also list CMOS, but they reject most listings.
Did we submit to Coinmarketcap or are we waiting until the change after block 72000?
A: We need $50k volume for CoinMarketCap. Once we have the volume we can apply.
9) Will there be any public record of airdrop payouts so the community can audit?
A: No, the airdrops will be vetted privately by the devs. The same as DeepOnion.
10) From Bitcointalk "Does it mean that I'm not able to use TOR for registration and that I should discover my real IP for participation in Airdrop? How this connected with announcement that one of the preference of Cosmos is high level of anonimity of holders?"
A: Anonymity on the blockchain is what was advertised. The proxy rule can be removed, but it was used to mitigate people abusing the system. That's one less barrier, which opens the floodgates for hackers.
