Nice project. Just now I saw the thread. Thought of visiting your site because of the unique concept and  to check the details regarding token sale . But the site is not opening. I mean its really very very slow. Is there any problem with the server? Just check it out ok. Otherwise you may loose many potential customers.

I thought mobile mining is quite impossible to do but it seems to be that I am wrong. The video is quite informative and it makes me more interested with this ICO. I will explore more about mobile mining because I think it is more reliable and easy compare to mining rig.

Yes. I use to be on the same side of the coin with you, believing that mobile mining is not going to be possible. But I started to change my perspective on the possibility after watching videos and reading whitepapers of such project as Electroneum and now Phoneum. I wish the project luck.

Depending on the algo, its possible or not. I've been mining using my phones for altcoins since a while and it helps. You can mine with only them or add them to your miners/workers.

As has been said by everyone else in this thread, mining on mobile does not sound like a good idea at all. Why risk a device when you'll probably make less than the cost of the device in the end?

Seems that you and "everyone else in this thread" maybe didnt read the whitepaper or do not understand it.
 
This looks like is absolutely new project developing new solution for mobiles with new algorithm created for mobile phones only.

So you and others can't compare it to previous attempt of mining good knowing cryptos on mobile devices.

I believe as its stays in the whitepaper its low energy consumption so will probably not drain battery, not generate extra heat by heavy load on CPU, will monitor your device.

The difference between us and Zipper, is that Zipper offers Blockchain access to services through the app, while we offer a mobile only miner, wallet and p2p network of transactions on its own custom blockchain.

This is not a new attempt to perform mining via mobile.
And the project that tried to ventured on this kind of mining was not successful.
Just a waste of resources. So better yet halt this project while still early.

Not quite right, a similar project from Electronium and they had very good fees and now they have made an excellent mobile wallet, probably this project will be a competitor to Electronium, but probably also can raise money for ICO.

Wow just downloaded the Alpha Android App and was mining coins on the test network for a bit, very cool watching the miner collect the PHM coins.

Is there sounds or other things coming to the final version of the app?

At the start it asks for the login, then the permissions, when it logs you in, is when the crash comes, as soon as you end giving the permissions, it shuts off. Anyways, thanks devs, at least the app is there, keep up the good work. These bugs are something common. I'll be waiting for an update.

I found a way to run it. De install the app, then reinstall and skip giving access to the camera. its running nicely now

Mobile mining has to be taken seriously, because it's the next step in cryptocurrencies and mining. We are in a new generation of mining, cpu thought, not gpu or asics here. Mobile mining is here, phoneum devs are the pioneers on true mobile mining.

People has been generally reluctant to use smartphones and tablets to mine, but the possibilities are there. I'm on to this project, it's going to be profitable and the most, prosperous. Mobile mining as I previously said, is the next step on mining, because your energy needs are lower, also the generated heat is lower, but the performance is where you see why you need to give a shot.

If you have an entry level smartphone(4 cores, at least 1 GHz per core, 1 GB of ram and Android 4 to 5 inches screen, for this case scenario), you can make an estimated 4~4.2 phm per hour, anyways your mileage may vary, still its a good measure and it gives an idea of how much can you earn.

Phoneum has a good future, it has the blessing of the start of the year. But away from superstition, it's future is in the good odds. That's my humble opinion, my two cents.
