Scorecoin Community,

As you all now it’s not possible to send coins from the old wallet to the new wallet. Still, since it happened to some of our users, here is a way which may give you a slight chance recover them. No guarantee that it will work but also nothing to lose.

Please read first all steps before starting and make yourself a picture what you will need. And as usual !!always!! do a backup before deleting or replacing!! I won’t repeat this it on every step…

1)   Install the old wallet .(if not installed anymore) If installed clean the Roaming folder (../AppData/Roaming/Scorecoin)

2)   Copy the wallet.dat from the new wallet to the old wallet.
(copy wallet.dat from ../AppData/Roaming/Score/ to .. /AppData/Roaming/Scorecoin/)

3)   Start old wallet. You will be probably get an error message first, ignore it and click ok. Wait until synchronization is done. If the balance appears than you are the owner of this address in both chains and just transferred coins from one of your address to another of your address.

Before closing the wallet send it the funds back to an address created in the old wallet.dat (meaning; don’t use the old wallet with the new wallet.at)

4)   Clean again the ../ /AppData/Roaming/Scorecoin folder and copy back the wallet.dat from the old wallet.

That’s it.

Next topic: coinexchange.io withdrawals

We are aware that some users send from their coinexchange.io deposit address directly to the swap address.
Situation: The transaction itself looks completed on your coinexchange history and the funds are from withdrawn from your balance. You even have a transaction id. Still they never arrived on the swap address.

Obviously, we cannot send you the new masternode coins before receiving the old ones but we are also in contact with coinexchange.io support who is already investigating the root issue.
If you check your deposit address on https://prohashing.com/explorer/Scorecoin/ you will probably notice that your funds are still there. Also that the provided transaction id does not exist. So it seems to be an internal issue on their exchange script. Just wait until they fix this. We will swap your old coins of course after the swap deadline too, if it comes to that.

Best Regards

Somebody care to post instructions for setting up a masternode on a headless Ubuntu Linux VPS?  The instructions are only for a Windows VPS.

I have tried the following...

./Scored getaccountaddress 0
that gets the primary wallet address, to which I sent 25000 score
./Scored masternode genkey
that generates the masternode private key

I added this in ~/.Score.conf file:
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=myipaddress:17075
masternodeprivkey=mymasternodeprivkey

Then I started the coin and did
./Scored masternode start
successfully started masternode

So, it looks like the masternode is running... but nothing has come in yet.  Also, a bit confused as to how to specify what wallet address the rewards should go to.

(if somebody could help me with setting this up on a headless ubuntu server, please do so... i'm probably missing some commands or Score.conf parameters?)

Questions guys:

I am not the best at Linux.  But I have set up many Masternodes on Ubuntu and always use the same setup. Can someone help me here?

When running sudo chmod +x autogen.sh

I receive: No such file or directory

When running: sudo ./autogen.sh

I receive: No such file or directory.

Is anyone running a MN on Ubuntu?  And if so, how did you get past this?

Hey All,

I have held 1500 Scorecoins for a while now. I always held them on Cryptopia though. After hearing about the Swap, I downloaded the old Scorecoin wallet (Scorecoin-qt.exe). I send my old scorecoins from Cryptopia to the OLD Wallet (so I can transfer on swap engine) . Unfortunately, I can't get my wallet to sync and now my coins are lost (for now, hopefully I recover them). The wallet just says "No block source available." Under  the folder appdata/roaming/Scorecoin I added a .conf file and added the following nodes:

addnode=178.238.226.136:10809
addnode=IP add 178.238.226.136:10809
addnode=82.113.98.190:37013
addnode=91.207.74.75:114
addnode=83.50.86.35:63852
addnode=74.76.114.217:57468
addnode=88.15.4.10:59633
addnode=163.172.64.208:45112
addnode=91.134.120.210
addnode=91.90.235.216

If anyone can help me configure the old wallet so I can receive my score coins and take part in the swap, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you!

So how would someone get Score if it is not possible to mine it? I guess just by buying it from you. Then you should try to make the coin more attractive.
