It looks like most people here don't really understand why panic sells happen ( most of times).

panic sell are AMPLIFIED" by reaching unexpectedly low prices, but why is initiating them ?

Panic sells and crashes happens when everybody expect a rise ( or huge rise ). but... the actual market price and chart, doesn't want to follow.
then people start to question the feasability of the pretended expected rise, and then people sell to avoid takingrisk, then it start to fall.



to put simply : if it does not rise as expected, then it fall. the real pain appears when people start to go into the "no floor fear".

btc to 7k or 8k is very possible. especially if bitcoin rise back to 15-18k, and proves unable to reach the 20k line.

but that is indeed obvious that even if bitcoin reaches 8k, 7k or even 2k, tons of people will jump on the opportunity to buy everything they can and thus make it rise much higher.

it's not about overall suplly and overall marketcap, it's about available liquiity at the moment, and the mood of the traders at the moment.

Agree , getting famous will lead to a high demand that also lead to high price . WE all know that after it pumps it will really dumps but what ever dumps it keeps coming back . The price right now is the result of the lately pump of bitcoin it really pump high enough so there is nothing to do so it dumps but later on  it will pump again. It is like last year that it really pumps a lot by december and by the new year it is sort of dumps but seems pretty stable right now i hope that it will be stable or pumps by the year of 2018

It seems hard for bitcoin to hit 20K, but dropping down to 8K seems even harder. The price will keep dropping, we've already seen 11K this month. However, the price will go up and down for a couple of days. Then it will probably collapse to 8K. Time to buy again, this will then create an uptrend and bitcoin could then reach 30K.

It's really hard to predict how much will bitcoin be. There are mixed signals at this current period. Last week it went up all the way to 19k and now it's barely above 13k. Going back to 8k is not expected or at least that's what we all wish, but it can be possible. We will just wait and see how it goes.

Bitcoin already hit 20k mark this year if everything goes off and we'll we should see price reaching higher.  But as most people will tell you it is your sole responsibility to invest since this type of investment has its own risk. Many will tell you and talk just at about price breaking new ATH aka all time highs but it could easily crush. In my mind I see bitcoin above 20k.

It could drop more than till 8k this can happen why bot, just look the enormous raise in price it had the past few months...

We have to be positive. Although it won't go for $20k from having a huge dump but atleast bitcoin shows recovery from it. And everyone believing that bitcoin will go further rather than of falling deep. And I believe that cryptocurrency especially bitcoin will surge again by next year and everyone will after this good opportunity for having investment.
