we all know that bitcoins have limits and miners keep trying to collect their bitcoins.

if bitcoin has reached its limit, will bitcoin price remain expensive? does anyone still want it? then what about altcoin? does altcoin also end?

If Bitcoin reached its limit, I think it would be ome more expensive so that people who hold bitcoin will sell them. if Bitcoin will run out, altcoin will be dead. No more use for altcoin if theres no more bitcoin.

If bitcoin's supply stops and the demand continues to go up, then the price will obviously go higher due to the supply not meeting the amount of demand we're getting from people FOMO-ing.
On altcoins though? It also depends on what the hard cap of certain altcoins are.

The supply of Bitcoin will still last for a few more years before it reaches 21 million.

In such a fast moving world, predicting NOW what could happen then is just nothing else than a guess game.

if the supply of bitcoin stops and demand grows higher then that will make the price higher and if the bitcoin dies then altcoin has no chance.

Well for me in my own opinion if bitcoin goes so does alternative coins because most of them have the same features which is most likely is its biggest advantage but could also become it's disadvantage due to the hidden and untraceable transaction which could occur to it at anytime.

if bitcoin reached the limit, of course the price will go to the moon
every day bitcoin community grow rapidly but bitcoin sirculation is limited, that's why bitcoin price will expensive

Ending or not it depends on the interests of bitcoin users ..
If all are looking and no one buys otomotis bitcoin will end, and I want bitcoin not to end even though the selling price is not as high as this time.!!
bitcoin and altcoin I think brothers are competing in the world of cripto, if for example bitcoin depleted altcoin that will be his successor.

Bitcoin has a max cap of 21 million coins. We're now at around 17 million in circulating supply and as we go on, miner reward per block decreases while difficulty increases, both exponentially. It is already priced at over five digit per coin so once the maximum supply is hit, expect prices to be off the charts as we all know how scarce it would be by then.

Altcoins have nothing to do with this, except that they will give Bitcoin a run for its money with respect to market cap and per coin prices as likes of ETH, IOTA, XRP etc are looking at a bright future.

Bitcoin has a limit in quantity, like other cryptocurrencies. And each cryptocurrency has a different number.
Therefore, if Bitcoin ends, Altcoins remain.

just because bitcoin will end does't mean altcoin will also end. each altcoin have its own purpose and uses. look for etherium it has a potential to be the same with bitcoin or maybe can surpass it in the future.

bitcoin has a limit of 21 million, if it has reached the limit and demand is increasing, of course, the price will be very expensive. and for altcoin, I do not think it has any effect on bitcoin

Theoryticaly it will make the demand even bigger because there is no more additional supply.  But there is probability that bitcoin minner will turn to other coin that can they mine because it will be profitable for them. Its difficult to predict.

If bitcoin was reached its limit then the price will be more expensive than now,but some theory says that last bitcoin will be mined in 2140,so its still a long way to go.If bitcoin was done then people will look for alternative coins so altcoin also will get expensive if all bitcoins were mined.
We are still in the early stages of crypto currency, many peole don't know what is crypto and bitcoin so if many people will knows abouth this in near future so the demand of coin will increase so the price also increase.

Alt coins have different coin caps, so they will not "run out" at the same time. ^smile^ The whole Crypto currency protocol was designed to sustain the network with miners fees, once the Block reward runs out. The Lightning Network will have Lightning hubs that would also serve as a source of income, when the Block reward stop.

Satoshi thought about everything. ^smile^

Well, the incentive to mine will be now on the fees. By the time that happens, the fees will be worth as much as block rewards are today.

If bitcoin will run out, then the price will become really expensive, why? So that people who hold bitcoin will force to sell them then it will go to cycle again. But if that wont happen, altcoin's value will become useless.

I think nothing will be done, Day by day Bitcoin is becoming a powerful currency so that it will not vanish anymore, not only that but also Bitcoin is getting accepted in many countries as well as online platforms, that's why Bitcoin is not going to die.

on the other hand, Altcoin will dominate in the local market so in case of any disaster of Bitcoin then altcoin will find out another way. In the era of technology, many source will come out in the absence of Bitcoin.
