To support this project I have setup a pool and point all my rigs to it Feel free to join with me https://edc.luckypool.ioLocation: FR @edollar.cash could you put this pool on page one? not working also its not showing correct hash I can mine 3kH and it showing max 680h/s for an hour now I've been mining it since it launched without any issues. The hashrate in the page is an approximation based on shares submitted with the given starting diff. All pools deviate from the actual miner hashrate. Also you should check to see if your cards are giving you errors/false shares. nothing like that no errors no stale shares no false shares everything is ok with the miner and its showing me the correct speed on it just I dont see it on pool stats.. just one reached 1.23kh/s and returned to 598h/s.. I guess I will wait couple of hours more maybe it will be ok then.. thank you for your help

Hi. I am a newbie here and a need little help. I downloaded the daemon and wallet for linux. It is working fine, sync and all. Very nice \o/ . However, the "help" content from the wallet command line is a bit... difficult to understand. Some examples, maybe, would help. Basically, how do I create an address to which I can receive Edollars? Is there a command for that? Maybe some tips and tricks on the first page of this topic, and in the "help" command, would be useful ;-) . Just a set of basic example commands that we need to start with. (and, BTW, I like the project ;-) ! )
Run the wallet-cli, create a new wallet, enter your password for it and voila, your very own address. The wallet address can be found in a .txt file inside your wallet folder

Everything worked out great from the wallet client as you guys mentioned above, I also tried the solo mining running 8-cores Xeon but not getting anything yet maybe diff is already quite high for solo.
Anyone solo mining here with the wallet client?

At this rate we will break 1Mh/s network hashrate by tomorrow! This is crazy for a coin that is a day and half old. This happens very rarely, everything looks good. Nice reponse times and great work on fixing the pool dev!
Lol what are you basing the 1 MH/s figure on? We're at half of that. I like this coin but let's not become hyping fanboys. Let's enjoy what an exciting launch this is without yelling MOON.

Yesterday when the US pool was working properly we peaked at 80k on the US pool + 160K on the EU pool + 420k on the singapore pool (the total network hash number on the pools was wrong for a couple hours) which is 660k. We jumped from 350kish to almost 700k in a couple hours. The hash shifted a bit due to the pool issues. Take a breather no need to get worked up lmao. I also never mentioned anything ever about moon. I was simply amazed at how well it was doing so early on.

how to mine solo?
You can do it by creating a private pool and directing your miner to it. I think there is another way to do it with your IP address but that's above my knowledge level xD

Any pool with support for fixed difficulty?
Unlike Bitcoin which difficulty is adjusted every 2016 blocks, EDC's difficulty is adjusted every block and depended on the average time finding a block, ei, depend on network hash rate.
