Couldn't get windows gui to start daemon.
On linux daemon has no connections.
So how do you guys get this to sync?
If our daemon is not starting then it could be a result of a very bad thing(i.e. your db might have been corrupted but that's just one reason....) when you start your daemon from settings in gui wallet. click on show daemon log/status then screenshot it and send that screenshot to me or post here

For wallet sync problems the solution of last (first?) resort is to delete the data.mdb file which is (usually) located in c:\programdata\edollar\lmdb
Note that c:\programdata is hidden by default in Windows; unhide it by selecting the "View" tab of any folder and check the box for hidden items (also recommended: checking the box for file name extensions).

That's exactly what I've done is that only 1er is displayed before it was 681

That's exactly what I've done is that only 1er is displayed before it was 681 Okay, next is to delete that file again, anyway, as well as p2pstate.bin in the directory up from it (ie - edollar). And not to state the obvious, but Windows firewall must have been explicitly told that the daemon can communicate with both private and public networks. If you can't remember manually checking the box for public networks then the easiest solution is to rename the folder that edollard.exe is in and the next time you run it as administrator Windows firewall, in its infinite stupidity, will ask you about letting it communicate with public and private networks again.

Well how does the gnu wallet work? I continue with the console because I like it more is quite simple to use and very easy to move, when I have news that this stable will happen to the gnu. good some novelty in relation to the exchanges?
