One day before I did able to check his account I was curious why people are really crazy on following up this man even on some shills regarding on a coin it do make some effects on its price.I don't know why it do happen but I don't really believe on him on either way because hes just popped out from nowhere and now guessing on price movements. Seriously? It do sound sucks but there are still people who do really follow on the things he do said regarding price movements but well its their own money after all.

I think you just answered your own questions in a way... he's an old school computer programmer with a lot of leverage with his name, whom people will recognize for at least two generations of computer users. He's insane and people love following insane characters. He predicted it like a lot of others, but he made it louder than most and also said he'd eat his dick, so that alone makes him more popular with people.

So yes, don't listen to him. But can't stop people from following personalities. If people cried for boy bands, why wouldn't they buy on the talkings of a madman?

Ive just heared Mcafee lately its anew in my ears. I just check his twitter account he has so many followers and he is always tweeting about coin that will be next pump coin. Yes I think that also just for pump and dump he has many believers for the cryptocurrency.

I am looking since one week on his "coin of the day" and then watch the pumps on coinmarketcap. I can only warn beginners not to
invest. After 5 minutes of his tweets the price is already higher then 60-80 % only because of his many followers.

Success in the world of cryptocurrencies is: make your own decisions by finding and investing in projects. Be a participant of projects  that you believe and hold it for the middle or longterm. Otherwise you will be a victim and others will take your investments.

I don't know if it was true or a fake with John McAfee and Enigma by asking for 25 BTC and 15 % for promoting a project. That is so much uncool!

I've lost respect for him.

He's pumping and dumping, and he must be telling certain people hours before each coin tweet because the accumulation is obvious. Yesterday he pumped the shitcoin Reddcoin and the charts showed a sharp rise before the time of the tweet.

Today he has done HMQ. Bittrex was unusable 5 seconds after his tweet and I was on there trying to navigate and couldn't load a single page, yet somehow the HMQ order book was fattening and it tripled in price within 4 minutes, not sure how the hell this happened on a site that wouldn't load during the period. He's got his people and insiders using bots on this.
