bad news, daemon can't connect. The linux guru's are on the scene. for a while it will be solo console/gpu mining. good news is, some great minds are digging through the source trying to get it to work on linux, so maybe just maybe a linux wallet will be available on launch. source link goes live in about 16 minutes.

You are a big joke.  Every coin you try to release has issues.  Big Joke.

Installer Pkg

Just for Mac Only?

i ditched the installer package for windows, but i can whip one up real quick if there is a demand for it. people around here are nervous of installer packages though, and for good reason. hard to find a trustworthy person around here.

Anyone knows where i can find a cpu miner for windows 32?

it comes with one built in. no conf file necessary, just open the console and type "setgenerate true" it uses upnp to mine, no opening/forwarding of ports necessary.

please answer:

  • Is UPNP needed?
    config file and nodes?
    Is it confirmed the joincoind daemon can be built?

I am compiling as I type.

ahmed built it, but couldn't get it to work on his server. kept failing out whining about the genesis block. not sure what the deal is.

If your head programmer for the pool is Ahmed, there's your problem.  Has he even had a real pool running?  Wasn't he scamming in one of his poools?  Wow two scammers working on the same coin/pool now.  Great team.

So you claim to have the Windows Wallet already and you still hold it for 30 extra minutes?  How fucking fair is that.  You are a retard.

Your coins are retarded.

Why not make it a fair release for everyone instead of a few who can compile for linux..  Release at the same time you scammer.

Premine crap for linuts users.

Give us the windows version at the same time.

good call, since the linux users have to wait while windows users get to plug and play on every other coin, far be it for me to try to share it with them.

since you decide to call me a scammer, i will give everyone who wants the qt wallet the link at the same time as the sources via pm, everyone but you. have a great night.

Is it 120 confirms?

Well:
  j-coind: main.cpp:2580: bool LoadBlockIndex(bool): Assertion `block.GetHash() == hashGenesisBlock' failed.

ok, i'll post a fix for line 2580, with the correct genesis hash.

create a conf file name j-coin.conf
put this in it.
Code:
username=<whatever you want>
pass=<whatever you want>
rpcport=<whatever you want>
addnode=173.216.107.57

now forward the rpc port on your router

then go to the console and type

Code:
setgenerate true
