Whats wrong with Tether?   Grin

They are all volatile coins, you just need to find one that is less volatile. That's quite difficult since all coins are affected by these dips. Investing long term is possibly the best way to go, don't panic sell when you see coinmarketcap go red. Thats the best time to invest and then hold.

How do you think what altcoin / token is the most stable one (ofcourse not tether please Smiley )? I'm interested in finding something with decent trade volume where it will be possible to save money doring such strong corrections (like from 20k to 14). Please  bring some arguments to your suggestions and add links to coinmarketcap Smiley

The best altcoin for me is just ethereum coin that grows from 300$ to 1k$ so we should invest in this coin this year because maybe it can even reach 2k dollar before the year ends, if you really want a stable coin the just invest on ripple because the profit will be only good through pump and dump or zcash with a greater amount of value.

My experience so far, I have never found a stable price, in fact there is no altcoin that has a stable price. because the price depends on the investors themselves. I agree with you, eth has a good price development, but still does not have a stable price.

I think eth is one of the stable currencies in altcoins and it had a great future too eth had nearly equal to bitcoin in future if it is possible eth will make a great group of investors like bitcoin .

Ethereum is really the best. Since the start of 2018, it's price isn't that bad every time coins are having their corrections. Too good to be true but I'm willing to invest more in Ethereum.

I'll be active when the bull market comes back

At this time Ethereum is looking Strong in all coins because in Bitcoin downfall only Ethereum was the coin which keeps on growing and when market was falling Ethereum not fall much and remain stable so I will recommend Ehtereum if you want to save and also Ethereum will grow good this year so if you keep in Ethereum there are more changes you will get good profits also.

As far as i know. There are no such thing like that. This is cryptoworld, the most volatile investment ever. People are taking profit from the unstable market. If there are some coins that very stable, then how you making profit from that?

This is a zero sum game. Someone will win, someone will loose.

all depends on BTC. If BTC not stable no market get stability. Though LTC,XRP,XeM,mana,Dodge coin's are pretty stable. I gain lot from it in 2017 5-10X.

Good point. everything inside crypto still relied on how bitcoin will move, the market still under the influenced of bitcoin holders, when the train start to move forward most of the coins will move along the way value will start to rise up, if you are asking which alt will be much stable better to stay with the top 20 alts and even gaining only small profits the risk is not that much against new coins which sometimes only been played by the pump and dump groups.

ETH is the most stable alt. Even though it dropped in the past, it’s already rising

I agree with this guy, eth is pretty stable.
With the improvements they made, eth's value will continue to increase.
The transactions are much faster now and the fees are low.
No doubt, eth will continue to rise

You don't look for stability in altcoins you look for coins which are new and you can profit in. Bitcoin is the one for stability and even that has drops and rises.

Smiley basiclly all value of altcoin is fluctuations, not one has sure value. altcoins has faster growth and decline. to the best you do daily traders with top coins. i guess xrp, dogecoin, and lite its good for trading. for marketcap i suggest is bitrex Smiley

But with that being said, I think eth and btc are one of the more stable altcoins. They're the big two for a reason.

It's clearly tether but investing in it is not meaningful. The most stable one is ethereum and its price also goes up with high demand.

I think Tether (USDT). If you are holding an unstable coin you can still change to tether

Indeed, Ethereum is the most stable altcoin. 2017 became the year for Ethereum, its price increased unexpectedly; even the its popularity, Ethereum is now known by many people. And I think, this year is also for Ethereum.
