All we know warren buffet ..

my question is : why didn't warren buffet invest in any Cryto currency like Bitcoin, etc ... or he did we don't know yet :p :p

I am pretty sure he did through some incognito 3rd party so in the beginning it cant be traced back to him. I think he has gone on record claiming that he doesnt support the crypto market. And in all reality why should he, he has completely milked the current economic structure, he doesnt need to really milk this new cryptoeconomy.

Warren Buffet is an investment icon known all over the world for his accuracy in stock and foreign exchange predictions. He has created wealth for himself through various investment windows and as a successful business man and investor he has the liberty to choose the contents of his investment portfolios. I think he doesn't invest much in technology stocks, hence his decision not to pay attention to crypospace and blockchain.

He is not into bitcoin or crypto in general. He is against it specially bitcoin. First you have to understand where the guy is coming from. He is old school, he doesn't invest on anything he feels very volatile and based on pure speculation, like bitcoin. And you can search a lot on the internet about why is against bitcoin. Although there are a lot of financial institutions who are now seeing bitcoin as a good investment instrument, he is still not sold on crypto. But we should respect the man, he is a multi billionaire, we can't deny that. But it doesn't mean that everything he says is 100% accurate. He also have invested on others that didn't succeed. So as much as we love him for being a good investor, maybe crypto's in not for him, this is the new era, a new revolution, he is as old school investors as you can find, so it only makes sense that he will stay away from crypto will others are already making millions from it.

We have already discussed about this many times before.Buffet is a successful investor in stock market. He has vast knowledge about traditional companies. But he lacks knowledge about new technologies.Bitcoin being a new technology,he just wants to stay away from it.

He's old, and he didn't understand this new course. And once you have made radical public statements against once asset, you tend to stay coherent to your position, even against every evidence that you have been wrong in your judgement.

Honestly, I wouldn't touch crypto if I was Buffet. It makes very little sense from his position to be exposed to unneded stress and complexity.

Who cares? He already proved himself and is pretty old right now. It would be a huge risk for him and his carreer, we smaller investors have nothing to lose.

Warren Buffet didn't invest in Amazon in early days and accepted his mistake recently. You could expect another apology later. But we can't sign off the bubble analogy. Many people are buying bitcoin as investment (we are discussing why Warren Buffet didn't invest!!)  when it was envisioned as a currency. Greater fool theory does apply to most new investors in 2017.

Dude.  WB is a genius stock market investor, and if you've ever read anything about him you'd know he only invests in assets that he knows something about--that he can analyze.  With businesses you can analyze what their earnings are, what they pay for dividends, what their future prospects are.  You cannot do that with anything in cryptocurrency.  It's all completely speculative, next-sucker theory, i.e., what's the next jackoff going to pay for the bitcoin you want to sell.  Buffett would never invest in anything like that unless he had insider info about something he knew was going to affect crypto...and even then he's known as being pretty ethical, so he probably wouldn't do it even in that case.  This should come as no surprise to WB fans.  I have mad respect for the man.  He knows what he's doing, and he's not a complete scumbag like a lot of investors.

He probably has more Bitcoins than all of us put together.

It kind of sucks to be in his position and to be 87 years old. What are the chances that he'll be here in ten years?

It's not fair to dismiss it as he's just old. He's wise. It could possibly be that he knows how his words affects markets, and since I read he's very ethical unlike Mcafee, he could simply not wanted it to sky rocket just based on his words.

Or maybe he has so much diversified account in crypto that we dont know yet. Knowing this big players, they have the "eye" on seeing which assets are very good investments. Investing money he can afford to lose in crypto wouldn't be that much of a problem for warren buffet.  I think he is just keeping it on a low profile.

What if he has huge investment and stakes in crypto currency. You know such a figure coming out to declare his stance on bitcoins will cause a heavy movement in bitcoin price. Since he hasnt spoken bad about crypto ,let assume he support it.
