I have bought a Nano Ledger S and I am very happy with it, I don't have experience with Trezor yet, will be interested to read people's opinions.

Had my Trezors since early 2015 and they have been sitting on my desk behind my monitor for the past 2 years collecting dust. Needless to say, I got out of the crypto scene and just focused on work until this year. Never even took them out of the little boxes until I saw in Dec 17 that the price of btc hit 19k !
After cleaning the dust off the boxes, you know I was kind of nervous because I haven't even plugged them in almost 2 years. Wondered if the little display would work and so forth. I have my seeds so was no big deal. Well, plugged the first one in and voila worked like a champ but needed updates badly... was on like ver 1.2 or earlier. Unplugged and held both buttons down and plugged back in. Updated flawlessly. Same with the 2nd one.
There was all my BTC and what the heck there's BCH/BitcoinGold ready to be split in their nice little tool. Split both coins and sent them to exchanges to be exchanged. LOL OMG that was over 2 years salary just from the split coins. Since then, they still work just like the day I loaded them up but with more coin options.

I will go for Trezor anytime any day because Trezor is ease of use and it super high levels security. However, it support crypto currency and token either. Here are the updated coin/token which Trezor wallet supported BTC, LTC, NMC, DOGE, DASH, BCH, ZEC, ETH, ETC, ERC20, BTG, NEM and UBIQ.

Ledger is much more better, you can store in there a lot of altcoins that are a little bit undervalued at the moment (aprox 30 altcoins) and Trezor is only offering 15, if am not wrong. Ledger is much more cheaper than the trezor one.

But trezor has a better security rather than ledger but that depends on the user itself, if the user interested to store various altcoin and then ledger should be the best choice and if he or she was focussing on the sercurity and trezor looks very good to be bought.

Which hardware wallet to choose? What wallet have you got? Which one is secure? What altcoins can be allocated there?
To be honest, I just put a .TXT document on a stick and that's it. Hide that somewhere, put a password to the .TXT document and wait. I doubt people will be able to hack me this way and it's similar to a Ledger or Trezor.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the bitlox. Though I the OP is about Trezor or Ledger. I have a ledger, after a bunch of research that was the one I went with over the Trezor. I think the ledger is better, but they're all excellent choices. I think the only thing going for Trezor that ledger doesnt is that its been around longer, but honestly it doesnt mean much as long as they are both secure.
I like the bitlox because you dont have to interact with chrome or anything. I like the shape. I love the features. its quite a bit more expensive. The fact that its a true stand alone hardware wallet is what makes it the best. the security is top top notch! do a search, learn a bit, there are quite a few hardware wallets besides the Trez and the Ledg. The Bitlox is for the serious of serious when it comes to security!
While I have no experience with the keepkey I like that one quite a bit as well. I think it would have been option #2 over the Trezor. though to be truly honest I didn't research it as much as trez and ledg though but what I did made me like the it more than the trez. and it think it looks the best of the 3.
good luck! going hardware is the only way to go if your planning on anything long term in the crypto world.

I bought ledger two months ago and still use it right now, i choose ledger because it is cheaper and i like the shape better. It can store bitcoin ethereum and erc 20 tokens over there so you should fell safe if you have hardware wallet because you have confirm all transactions.

Trezor not supporting tokens (ERC) so my vote is for ledger. easy to use and secure enough then other wallets. Just don't lose your recovery key then you will be safe.

Ledger Nano S is best economical variant. It cost just 60$ (or even lower during sales) and support all famous coins + ERC20 tokens.

ledger doesn't support all ERC20 tokens as far as I know. As you indicated it is economical one but also trezor supports all ERC20 tokens

Are you sure about that buddy? I guess you don't use or check the update TREZOR version 1.4.0. By the way you can googling that or check the current coin supported by trezor

I do believe they are both secured but it only differs in some point because ledger wallet is much cheaper compare to trezor that is not. But if you are thinking that this difference is too big no it is not. Both are quality made and sufficient to all traders.

Definitely a Trezor! Ledger had problems with the site and purse, and Trezor did not have them! And I also do not understand about tokens .... after all, both purses work as intermediaries and provide the address to the MEW, and the address already has tokens. Does anyone know how to send a Trezor Litecoin, with a local purse LTC?

Ledger is very easy to use. It is cheaper than similar products. Very often they make discounts. Good reliable wallet. I do not even think about replacing it. I am very satisfied with his work.
