I remember buying some btc a few years ago on this forum from different members. There were many threads of buying/selling bitcoins. Is there anything like that for other cryptocurrencies as well? XRP in particular?

Thanks.

XRP is actively traded in many exchanges and it is safer ad easier to buy XRP on exchanges..even buy cheaper (if you are lucky).Place a limit order at your desire rate and may be filled

Still you can buy the bitcoins for the people who expects the profit in the some days of time. Since the hard fork is happening in the coming 28th we will find the bitcoin value bumped more than double value in the price chart.
As you asked you can consider xrp like how we see the bitcoin in 2009 now on the xrp face. So keep on investing xrp you will find the profit as people aew investing on this coin now.

If you want to buy XRP then just buy it with exchanges, there are great deals that you might find on this forum but you need an escrow for it and to be more convenient with buying it. Just visit an exchange that has XRP and just buy directly to their sell orders and that's easy and fast way of buying it. Most of the traders that are longing to sell their XRP's are also there.

No selling XRP, just holding it for longer term. I thinking of holding it until it reached 5 USD per 1 XRP.

As far as I know banks will use the Ripple technology.. not the XRP currency itself.

I don't understand what will be the possible use of XRP for all of us except for selling at higher price.

It seems to me that buying a ripple on a specialized platform or an exchange is much safer than buying a coin from an unknown user. You can make a purchase on Bitrex, Poloniex, Binance exchanges.

I agree with members above.. You can buy coins with exchanges.
By the way it is not profitable to sell own ripples at least for now.

Me. 50,000 XRP wallet.

Fuck getting "hacked" by exchanges.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

I also think it is safer to get tokens in safe places. The risk is possible if the price is very profitable. But I do not think that someone will sell a coin cheap on the forum.
