Are Faucets Useful Now?

With the bitcoin value sky rocketing, have faucets become useful and worth the time spent now?
And not only bitcoin faucets but altcoin faucets too, I think with such high value of every coin in terms of dollars, faucets can no longer be considered as a wastage of time.

Fyi the rates on faucets also decrease following the price of bitcoin, like freebitco.in. When the price of bitcoin going up, the rates on freebitco.in faucet decrease. In my opinion faucets is really wasting time, it's better to use your time to do another else like do some task like retweeting/tweet on service section.

This is true but only temporarily because when the bitcoin price value will bounce back you will gonna start of wasting your time again and again. I think faucet is good for altcoins rewards only because faucet investors can afford to pay for it because it is cheaper than bitcoin but the problem is the people who are aware now that faucet is really no good especially altcoins reward.

When the price of bitcoins increases the faucet points will decrease and it will take more or even years to get to 1 bitcoin as 1 bitcoin is equivalent to ten crore satoshis and faucets work only after half hours or after fifteen minutes and they give 8 -10 satoshi's which is too low and I will not say that it is waste of time as you will be able to earn something out of it in the long run. Faucets are like earning small perils of money but it is something out of nothing.

no faucets have always been a waste of time.

i remember even back in 2015 when price was $200 (the bottom) the faucets were paying 100 satoshi per claim which was usually an hour. if you wasted your time a lot and claimed them at the end of the month you could barely have 0.001BTC which is now worth $15.

and that is not just about how much the faucet claims are worth. it is about the fact that you wasted your time to earn a little. for example if you could earn 0.001 from faucets, that means you could have wasted your time better and make 1-2BTC. i mean earning $200 from any job was not really hard. you could have used the same amount of time to earn $200 and buy 1 bitcoin.

I dont think that many faucets are so useful its a big waste of time for us its kill your time as will faucets are not gaining profit you earning just a little bit of useless from other faucets and not all faucets are legit most of all that are scams thats why it so risky to undergo faucets it will kill you for not earnings a lot.

Increase  in the price of bitcoin has invariably resulted to decrease in  the amount of satoshi earned while working on faucets, personally I viewed faucets as a starting point for a newbie in earning bitcoin although it is regarded as a time consuming venture. It is always good to start from that aspect of earning bitcoin.

Bitcoin Faucets can give you a little amount of satoshi. You can claim around 10-15 satoshi per hour, indeed it is a very small amount but if you collect it even for a year it is rewarding. At least there is few amount of sats compare to nothing. It is also a way of introducing cryptocurrency for some of the beginners. Luck is also great thing here you can win for about 0.1 BTC which can also be used for trading as a headstart.

I don't think faucets will be profitable even the price of bitcoin have risen so high. Although faucets are a good starting point to earn bitcoin, I think it is just a waste of time.

I don't think so if faucet is useful now because I use fauset then I have no earn bitcoin its so slow to earn bitcoin but faucet is a good to earn bitcoin satoshi.In the faucet you have to accumulate a satoshi and when you are in the value of a satoshi that you can withdraw with it you can just bring it out.I think for me faucet is a good but its a waste of time for me.

Faucets for me is just a waste of time. Some of them is a scam and they cannot pay you if you have already a savings in your account. You only get a small amount in faucets and it is useless because any little amount is hard to save it to your account to have a bigger value into it. Faucets for me is only a waste of time and it cant pay you in the right amount. This is hard job for me and you I dont if it is payable.

if you have many referrals in faucet then its not waste your time to do faucet you can earn big amount of it but if you don't have referrals in faucet then its just waste your time to earn only small amount without referrals. For me faucet is wasting time because its just a little bit value that you can get to them if you are mining to them thats why i dont continuing to get faucet.for me now im a member here im so happy for what i get here in bitcointalk to because i gain big money here and i learn a lot of here.

I think all of us will agree that faucets are just a waste of time. If really want to earn, and earn big. It would be better to invest, do trading, bounty campaigns and signature campaigns.

As I understood, you have made the assumption that faucets give you same BTC or ALT with a constant rate. But as I have seen, it is not the case. They may give you some BTC or ALT which worth same USD value, so that the amount of BTC you get decreases when the BTC price goes up.

If you do a calculation on how much you make spending time on a faucet, you will understand the real deal. You can use that time in a Bounty or Airdrop and it will give you a good amount of coins. Most of the faucets offer gambling facility and it is two sided blade. You could increase your amount or totally lose it all.

I agree on what everyones's opinion, faucet now a days is just a waste of time. Imagine every 5 mins. you can only earn about 10-20 satoshis? I love the faucets before because it gives you 3000 sats, its worth it, unlike now, very small amount only. Better invest on good crypto coins, hold it while you can till it gains high price, or try crypto trading, you can earn easy 1 bitcoin with those jobs.

It is very hard for me to find a legitimate faucet. With that in mind, my impression in faucets are always a waste of time. I rather do post in this forum to help my account rank up. But, if someone shows me a good faucet, I might be interested. Thanks

The increased price has caused a decrease on the pay on faucets. If the same amount as the past were provided, users could have benefited good through the faucets. Now, as the pay has been decreased user gets what he has been getting long back when calculated in terms of fiat.

I don't really like faucets, they only generate small value of Bitcoins, which is called satoshis. Faucet sites are similar to PTC's business structure (Paid to Click) were you will earn cents per click of advertisement. The way you could earn more from them is to have a lot of referrals similar to the latter mentioned. Its just a waste of time if you'll spend alone all day, all night waiting for your turn to claim. Might be better if you'll focus on other options such as bounties or airdrops if you don't have enough resources to invest in trading and the like.
