Well, the Galaxy A7 2017 is a mid-range device, while the Huawei P10 is a flagship smartphone. The P10 beats the A7 2017 in almost every category, including camera, speed, specs, and maybe even price. The A7 2017 probably has better battery life though. I would pick the P10.

Well,  Samsung is more cooler than Huawei.  Samsung has a great camera and it is a mid range device . And Huawei? I don't know what's that,  I'm not a fan of it.

If the person is going to use it for gaming, camera and prefer quality phone give the samsung a7 for higher battery life and camera display. But if it is for ordinary uses like for communication give the huawei p10.

Well, for those people who is not checking the specs of the phone, I think they will always say that the Samsung is the best because it is a well know brand when it comes to smartphone, as for me, I always check the specs because I want to have a phone that I can also use in gaming. P10 certainly have the advantage when it comes to speed and although Samsung has a high camera resolution, P10 has a very clear and nice feature in their camera, so I think P10 has a better camera rather than using Samsung.

Try going to a mall and compare it for yourself, if there is a demo phone available for both phones.
