To be honest I don`t believe that this fork would have too much affect on btc price because the ratio of 1:1 is not bringing too much profit to people as the btc price is too high nowdays.

I think no one really knows for sure and for everyone the best bet and hope is that bitcoin would go ul and continue again this surge until janiary. However anything can happen and everyone is also expecting the worst of another dip that might happen |

I am not sure, before the gold split, it increased, but at the last shitty forks the price didn't react.

That fork is crap, i can not understand why a lot of people are saying that this one will be profitable or that at least it will pump the price, that is fake. No one knows anything about this fork. |

Pump or dump after forking has no assurance there also no one sure what would happen I hope it will atleast recover to 18k again to break even with my losses since I'm not expecting much from the clone coin that would be a result of fork.

I know that the fork is announced but still I hope somehow they will give up and cancel tihs fork.
This doesn't bring anything good to bitcoin system and those few free coins don't mena anything. Still if the fork happens I don't think this will influence the price in some big deal, not in positive or in negative way so this will pass and we will carry on like before.

Maybe I have been having too much of the Seasons festivities but I had to do a double take for a moment to see what was happening on the 28th. I think that if there was going to be big price swings we would have seen them already - or maybe we have seen them already.

tomorrow 28 will happen segwit2x, and I predict that it is an improvement. I see that bitcoin will rise high after that.

I think that at first it will go slightly down, then it will go up back to $16-17k mark. Everytime after forks the price goes down then up. Here will be the same situation I think. Let's hope that segwit2x will be successful.

That was what i was thinking. Its very possible it goes a little low because of the market reaction. after that we will go to another high levels. |

meh, i see a lot of discussion about the 28th hard fork but if it will be like the last 2 or 3 nothing will change, community doesn't really like all of these forks and none is supporting the new coin.
We will see what happen in the next 2 days or so, but in my opinion we might see some BTC price increasement but not related to the new coin.

Already, it seems as if a few forks of bitcoin should happen the other day. Including December 25 was supposed to happen a fork with the formation of God's bitcoin. During this time, bitcoin did not increase significantly in price, and therefore nothing unexpected with its value can occur in a day. Bitcoin may slightly increase now in price, as bitcoin is now floating in price as on the waves.
