If we talk about statistics in 2017 was held 902 ICO. 142 of them have passed the stage of funding, and an additional 276 have not implemented the idea, although got the money. Some of the latter turned out to be a rock and fled with attracted investments. As a result, we get 46 percent of unsuccessful projects. The probability of failure of the ICO is too high, so you need to analyze projects in detail before investing. Hopefully, 2018 will be more successful for investors and for the reputation of the ICO itself

Having a good ICO has a bad ICO, we have to know the options. The new one will replace the old, the better will replace the worse. This happens in every aspect of life. Life is the choice, I hope you make the right choice Grin Grin

Choice is not perfect sometimes you make a wromg decision in joining campaign that's why you dont need to settle your mind in that particular project you need to be more open minded in some aspects that bring negativity to the ICO.

ICO won't die becuase it's the easiest way to raise money for sturtups. But states will make every effort to restrict this possibility for ordinary non-accredited investors

Absolutely right, how do we know that something is going up without ICO programs? That is the best that can be used for it in my opinion

Such a course can not be ruled out, because many countries, and even more so, almost all of the banking system, are very keen to destroy crypto and bitcoin, I think that in this case we can only be sure of this in 2019.

the name ico currently has a bad rap with some people, especially bitconnect investors. but there are some very good icos that are legit i dont expect it to just die out

Natural scenario for an entity that involves money - there's always a scam. We can't really deny the fact that too many people/investors fall in a scam ICO but of course, there are still that are real not just in legitimacy but so real in its purpose of the project. So basically, ICOs won't die.

I also think so, now many ico scam that cause losses for investors, even if ico will continue to exist then investors will be divided and if it happens then there is a possibility will happen investor crisis that makes the value of coins drop

It won't die for a while as long as people are willing to invest and promote.

The person investing should do a better job of investing.

If anything, promotion tactics will need to improve.

Surely, many ICO will die quickly in 2018, since most are badly designed and managed.
But at the same time many others will be born and prosper.
So, it's just about choosing carefully.
I would say that 90% of the ICOs will die, since they are scam and unable to make a profit, but the 10% that will remain will be very successful.

when i try to think logically, i really doubt that icos can die. because this is a new way of investing money in future technology. but when i look at the market and at ico results, i begin to think that everything is possible. but i really hope it won't die, cause i feel bad for those potential and talented people who need money to fulfill their great ideas and create promising projects.

I don't think that ICO are dying. Just choose them with attention, read the whitepaper and the roadmap, and judge about viability of the project.
I recommend to stay away from dapps and social apps, they are too many and for the most of them don't bring something useful. But it's just my opinion.  Smiley

I do not think so. In fact, in my opinion, after this period of stasis, there will be a further explosion of ICOs.
Of course, many of them will die, but it is a normal natural selection that will eliminate badly designed ones from the game and reward those that are really valid.

ICO projects will not die in a near future. But it is possible maybe that with the time alternative ways of collecting money will be founded. We should wait and invest in those projects that will survive in addition with our opinion.

I read some mentions that we smoothly goes to post-ICO era. Most of investment are from funds, private clubs, pools. And often ICO not need. If project good smart whale-investors buy all their offers.

No way. Quality ICOs never die. Only ICO born to cheat people die. Because people have understood and are not easily drawn to non-pragmatic ICO

I hope not, it's very cool! Quite the contrary, by the summer all problems will be solved and ICO will reach a new level, which will surpass this format! So we hope and wait! All good ICO!
