Almost every project which did ico successfully and listed on exchanges lost much value and dropped below to the ico price, there is just few projects above the ico prices in 2018.

I don't think so. most likely, the ICO will only develop closer to the end of 2018, and its record for volumes will be broken in 2019. No death is out of the question.

Probably not.
Actually when market is bearish mode all the positive things become negativit. That's why people thinking like that. But I must say profitibilty have dicreased in compare to 2 -3 ago ICO investment.

With the coming of sec into crypto currency industry and trying to regulate, it will be reduced drastically where by only good and trusted people and projects will be allowed to do ico.

I do not agree with you. I think ICO will survive. ICO is still associated with Bitcoin da Altcoin. If Bitcoin still exists then ICO will also exist. Although its existence sometimes disappointing because of the ICO sometimes there are still fake. But that's what makes ICO interesting to follow

If you look at the numbers, actually more people invested more money in ICOs then last year. But people were largely no happy with their results, the majority of ICOs this year traded below ICO price once they hit exchanges. There were only few exceptions as Quarkchain but it was very hard to get in during the ICO and that created sn artificial demand. Most other projects tanked without giving the eary investor the chance to take profit.
For five months of 2018, the projects have collected investments for more than 2017. Tokens are traded on exchanges below the price of ICO, because the market is red. |

That ICO will die in this 2018 only as this is the early stage on the ICO era. Maybe a few years from now ICO will gonna die but thats not mean this 2018 ico will die probably in the future but not today.
If there are no obstacles on the part of the state in the development of the cryptocurrency, then ICO will live for a long time, not one or two years. |

We need changes. In the form as it is now - not viable. Stricter moderation is required. There can be a unified rating system. Or guarantees to investors.

I think that only scam ICOs will die in 2018, because this market is become more and more regulated, so it is very difficult to lauch a scam ico now.
Remove some people, others will appear. So the problem can not be solved and it can not escape! And the scam will not be less! |
