With regulations, I think we will see more legit icos and less scams in 2018. I don't think they are going away anytime soon. If the SEC considers tokens that increase in value based on the performance of blockchain, then every ICO can be considered a security. Lips sealed Lips sealed

I think that, as it was a year ago, we will never see the ICO again. But the direction itself will certainly not be lost, but will only develop.

I believe that the ICO will never die, and in the future it will evolve. It seems to me that this industry will exist for a very long time . And don't worry about it .

The ICO market is waiting for a shake-up and a change in the course of development aimed at quality. The number of projects will grow, but many of them will burn out. At the same time, more investment capital will appear on the market, directed to the most promising projects.

ICO is one of the programs that is the reason for some crypto people to join. ICOs make them have high hopes to be able to earn income from crypto. Because the ICO makes it easy for them to be able to meet the conditions given so that the ICO will provide wages to its supporters. If the ICO dies, it will make people lose their jobs and also lose their source of income.

Its silly to say that the whole ICO scene will die, but it has been indeed slowing down since the beginning of the year and it may slow down even more in the coming months. Simply too many people are in the ICO game just to flip their investment so the demand on the market cant keep up with a torrent of those individuals.

I think ICO will not disappear. Encrypted currencies require ICO to release bubbles. ICO is also a very good way. It is only being abused now. What we need is to supervise the ICO's distribution team to make them accountable for the project.

The content you posted doesn't have much to do with your theme. You want to discuss the survival of ICO, but in reality you just made an advertisement for a project. I see from your attitude that ICO will not die.

PS:This is really a boring topic

There must be structures to oversee ICO projects. In addition, the big business falls on the people involved in these bogus projects. Why pay for projects that don't work?

ICO is a great crowdfunding method. Yes there are scams but there are scams in every industry. You have to take care of your own safety. ICO gives power to the people unlike IPO. However recently ICO's have been dominated by VC's buying at multiple times cheaper than crowdsale investors, this causes a huge problem since VC's dump their tokens on crowdsale investors. However this will turn around I think. When VC's can't find any crowd investors to dump their tokens on, they will stop investing. Then ICO's will be dominated by crowdsale investors again. That's my two cents.

ICO's will become a lot more regulated, expect KYC on all of them, and they'll be mostly used to get additional capital after a first round of investment through VC's has already secured their softcap. The days of ICO's raising tens of millions for projects that don't have any working project or any VC backing are over, and its better this way.

I don't see any sights for ICO death. It is still common and unique way to raise money in crypto industry.
What will replace ICO? To my mind nothing can replace it , may be DAICO concept, but it is not common

Projects for the primary placement of tokens - a financial bubble, it will disappear in the next 1-2 years. Scammers deceive investors and promote a product that will not bring profits to investors.

I think completely they will not disappear but the amount will decrease. 2018 became fatal for investing in ico industry, disappointed is a lot of, only the strongest in the market will remain, the weak and scammers will simply disappear.

I think that the ICO will not disappear, but it will change, they will become much smaller, because investors have become smarter and now analyze the project before investing, and do not make a decision based on the ratings of the crypto project.

All things considered crypto world doesn't require new coins, it requires better improvement of old coins. Savvy contracts expected to be something different, they ought to be utilized revenue driven offer when every one of these tasks gain some ground and benefit. Individuals will dependably make new undertakings and they will dependably require cash for them so I don't figure crowdfundings will pass on.
