According to the article airdrop is scheduled for mid-August, the market is so unpredictable that I will not buy right now. A week before the event, I will buy, but not before.

Can you point me to where to sign up for the airdrop and participate? I found out about this coin by someone mentioning it somewhere (I forget where) but it seems really interesting.

Yea I'm waiting for the day when we can get rid of ISP's that would be amazing if somehow that could be accomplished with blockchain tech, I really don't like how we are dependent on these multinational corps for our internet. There has to be some innovative way for the internet to be truly decentralized

But what could that look like? Perhaps that everything works with the help of satellites and everyone can run their own satellite as a node or something.

BTC was a lot lower in value during angel investor and private investor rounds, than public investor round. If you factor in BTC prices at the different stages, it's not as bad as you're making it out
What makes you think there will be no volume 7 months from now?

Will they be charged at all? Who knows yet what will be technologically possible in a few year or some decades from now. Possibly there is free internet for everyone, and even a decentralized version of it.
