Are Bittrex supporting this?

Currently holding my BTC there, but wouldn't mind the free money for equal coins.

I hope cexio is considering to use this new Segwit2x,
The fees are so high at cex.io exchange both withdrawal and
the minimum amount to trade. This would be a real relief in fees for traders.

There are no news regarding the segwit2x in bittrex, they didn't state what will happen or whether they support it or not. And there is a lot of exchanges that doesn't give the information of what will happen after the segwit2x.

Still no news from Bittrex.

I may move over to HitBTC to collect my free coins?

Is it too late to move now?

Yeah they have already stated their support for IGNIS but

They haven't posted anything regarding support for new segwit2x which was postponded few months ago, at that time bittrex has announced their support but right now there is no any official statement. So its better to not keep BTC there if you are eager for b2x coin.

Moved my BTC over to HitBTC for the free coins as it's getting a bit late for Bittrex to announce.

Just to confirm, HitBTC has 2 wallets, a Main Account and a Trading Account. Does it matter which one of these my BTC is in?

Of course they are, they are the sluts amongst the exchanges doing everything for the money, even when in some cases they shouldn't. Other than that, it's funny how people are now already counting their profits, and that while they don't know how things will play out. The future prices of S2X on various shitty exchanges doesn't mean anything in that regard. Exchanges aren't obliged to support it, so don't start complaining when the more reputable exchanges aren't planning to release your fork funds any time soon.

Only hitbtc and yobit are supporting this fork, bittrex are not supporting it.

There's a few other smaller exchanges that are supporting it.

According to http://b2x-segwit.io/ 8 Exchanges are supporting the Segwit2x.

The 8 Exchanges include;

1. https://hitbtc.com/

2. https://yobit.net/en/

3. https://exrates.me/

4. https://zumminer.com/

5. https://localtrade.pro/

6. https://needlecoin.org/

7. https://www.wmtransfer.com/

8. https://freewallet.org/

You should deposit BTC to the above Exchanges before 28th of December,2017 to get benefits(B2X and Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoins)

Thing is, apparently Bittrex was supporting the 2X fork last month, but apparently this is a different and more sketchy team with no real credentials, at least as far as I'm aware. At face value, I'd expect them to support it. On the other hand, not having a statement from them on the newly revived fork is def making me nervous. I've only got basic verification so withdrawing all my holdings isn't really an option at this point.

Same with Super Bitcoin and the other forks. On one hand, I see where you guys are coming from, saying Bittrex isn't interested in supporting shitcoins. But then you have to realize that they can easily just claim the coins for themselves and sell them off for a profit, and that isn't exactly "moral" either...

If we hold their feet to the fire, we can actually get things done. But if we just sit around here and complain, who knows if they'll listen...

Yet they owe it as a duty to officially and publicly declare their stand because not like anything they do would dissuade the new crop of people behind S2X from pursuing what they feel is to their best interest. That way, account holders in Bittrex, who might be interested  in the free money (1:1 share + potion of Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoins) would know what step to take.

Without mincing words, Bittrex is losing it! They're yet to come clean, why they took to zero withdrawals for unverified accounts knowing fully well they weren't equipped to handle the demand and their support have been rendering everything but support. Let's hope these are not signs of another big exchange about to derail!
