For the project creators they use it as a way to promote their coin to the potential investors and it is also a way for people who cannot invest into the coin to make some money out of the project. Its all depends upon what type of project you are investing your time, 80% of ICOs are scam now a days participated into those bounties would never helpful but if you did some research before participated bounty than you would be able to found legit one and make money out of it.

There are great and legit projects out there that are giving token airdrops or having a bounty, because that is probably a best way to get more people to participate and engage with project activity. There aren't really alot marketing options for crypto related projects still, so airdrop and bounty is a great way for project to increase its community number and try to engage people as much as possible. I did participated in few that really paid alot, and I'm still holding those tokens because I do believe in the future of those projects.

Airdrop and bounty have used by the developers for marketing purpose and it can't be used to define how good that ico is. You misunderstood about that. Bounty was giving massive advertisement to the ico to create noise in the crypto community and they can attract a lot of investors to take a look on the project.

Bounties could lead the ICO to be successful because bounty hunters are helping the project to attract investors and airdrop may lead the token to drop after listing on exchange because it is free

Airdrops and Bounty are both useful during ICO"s these two campaign made the ICO known in all investor. I am very appreciated to bounty program because after the project they give a huge amount of token as a reward for your participation.

When viewed from its usefulness, all the coins or tokens given are of great use if they can be exchanged with a large value, meaning having a price. whether it's given from airdrop or from bounty. as long as I join Airdrop, my email has never been a problem. in conclusion, please join in the bounty or airdrop which have valuable coins.
