Altcoins to Watch in 2018

i believe ripple and ethereum is two of the most rising altcoins on the market in next year, they have shown to the world that the benefits of using them can be much better when bitcoin slow down and delays happen, so their price may be higher in next year.

The year 2018 will be the time for privacy and fast transaction
So I would bet an XRP (very fast, little fees)
and XLR Solaris less known but with zerocoin protocol, also fast and little fees for transactions.(POS, POW and masternodes are also advantages here).
Defninitely be careful about investing in bitcoin, more and more people are leaving that boat. We will see if it will not sink.

My favorite coin for 2018 will be KCS (KuCoin). It's an exchange coin itself that pays out dividends daily to users that hold the coin. Depending on how much you hold, I started making $0.75 a day now I'm pushing close to $4 a day by just holding.

It's not a massive amount, but more volume means higher payouts. I'm making an extra $1,500/year currently by just holding a coin. Cannot help but enjoy that.

You need to focus on some valuable ICO projects, and if you choose the right ICO project, then in 2018 you will have a huge profit because the bull market is just beginning.

I think in 2018 ICO's will be not a problem in the forum cause theymos just discussed about this. The current altcoins will be the last i think and the number of ico will decline due to the new rules that was discussed i hope not though it is a problem for some traders and the value will surely decline.

I see Ripple have a potential for investment in 2018. If we see a huge growth in 2017, it is possible that in the coming year the price of Ripple will touch $5 in 2018. In some media, i read Ripple to be excellent in some circles to make investments. But they argue that Ripple is good for long-term investments.

This is caused by several factors such as the number of banks actively working with Ripple in 2017 to apply and implement technology for their payment instruments. In addition, the transaction process offered by ripple is very fast that can process transactions up to 1500 transactions per second, different from bitcoin that can process transactions of about 3 to 7 transactions per second.

How about eyeing on an alternate coin that is cheap today but has a big potential to be an expensive one tomorrow? I am always checking on these alt coins on the market and they are really showing signs of progress in terms of market cap and price. They are Ripple, NEM, and BlackCoin.

You just need to research to find ICOs you like. There are many of them and lots are not very good.  SO key is to do your own research and find projects you think have solid prospects and could be good value long term.

I've done a bunch of ICOs this past year.  Am pretty picky though. 

To do:

-- See who is on the team. Are they experienced? Do they have linkedin accounts you can check out?  Do they have other companies they have run before?
-- Read white paper- this tells you all of the details about the project and is best way to see how well the plan is thought out.  If it makes no sense to you or does not seem like a quality plan, avoid it.
-- Check out timeline and think about upside potential - how confident are you that they can pull it off and and that it will happen?

It takes a lot of work to find best ICOs-- and don't rely on ICO directory sites either. 

FWIW, these are new ICOs that are either happening now or about to happen I like a lot, but please do own homework0 don;t just trust me or anyone else:

1. Narrative- https://www.narrative.network-- they are disrupting social media and publishing so it's a huge opportunity and the white paper and team are very solid.  Probably my fave long term pick.

2. Gladius - https://gladius.io/ - DDoS protection on blockchain- this one also seems super solid to me.  like the team. Also seems very solid to me, though maybe not as big an opportunity as narrative is.

3. SwissBorg- https://swissborg.com - wealth management on blockchain- like team here as well. get a good vibe from this one.


Do't invest too much in any one ICO though... especially if you just getting started.  Get your feet wet and make sure you know what you are doing.

Aside from ICO, i like these cryptos-- NEO, ETH, Monero, Verge, and Bitcoin.

Ethereum is very good altcoin, to be honest it has the highest value compared to the alt coins and i think it can reach the value of bitcoins, but it will take too long to happen, but it is no impossible to happen

Ethereum is definitely a coin to watch in 2018! Ethereum has been very successful this year! Ethereum moved from around $10 to $800. And currently trading around $700. So, watch out for ethereum in 2018! Some incredible price  increase is coming after when ethereum go POS!
