If you already have Bitcoins, and if more than 20% of your portfolio is made up of Bitcoins, then I would never recommend you to purchase further coins. Because high risk assets should never cross the 20% threshold in ideal cases. Also, you never know whether Bitcoins will go up or down in the future. Already it is facing a lot of competition from alts such as Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Ripple.

Expect that there's possible to bitcoin to goes down its value when bitcoin is dropping but just don't panic because later on it will goes up again, so don't easily scared that make you decide to sell your coins. Also if dropping just keep it or hold it until it rise its value.

In 2017 it reaches from 2000usd to almost above 15,000usd. Yes it showed fluctuations up to 19,000usd. And again some dropped dawn in the price.  But no need to worry about it.  Whatever is the value right now it is also good growth in a whole year.  And i sure 2018 will be great for investors.  If now any drop dawn in value just invest money.  And leave it.  You directly can see the earnings at the end of 2018. It will be a great value.  So meanwhile fluctuations will be there but final cost matters most so i would say just have patience.

In my opinion, the rate of BTC today is only the right price for it. I know we've experienced hitting it at $19k rate but we should not expect that it will go up continuously since we know there will be some corrections very soon. If you've been in the crypto currency for months or years now, I am sure you're used to crypto prices going roller coaster every time. One thing I am sure of even if BTC's price dropped and dropping every time is it will eventually go up again some time soon. We just need to wait for it to pump.
